Thought we could start a new chat for everyone who could potentially get their bfp in December or try again

Thankyou. It's strange because I did t feel pregnant at all the only thing for me was I usually have spotting 5 days before my period and it never came. Yesterday morning and the morning before I felt so sick but today the sickness has got to another level 🤢 fingers crossed for you!

Went from getting blank circles to a static smiley this morning even though I'm using the CB OPKs that are supposed to tell you your 4 most fertile days. It's happened bang on CD12 though as per usual so may sack the tests off now because they're making me wait when I knew I should have just trusted that I know my cycle now.

@SlinkMcSlink aw so much, I try not to let DH know I am initiating sex because I think I might be ovulating, let at least 1 of us think it's a little more spontaneous 😂

I think it's def getting darker. FMU for me isn't normally the best either, I drink water through out the night. I'm mad to do the digital but I don't want to waste it either. I'm 10 DPO but because of the MC I don't know when to expect my period

@wanderlustre that happened to me!! Then i got another static smiley a week later so im not even sure when I ovulated - if i did!! Just keep dtd lol x

@pontipinemum maybe hold out two days and then do the digital. I read online that only 25% get a positive on 9dpo and goes up to about 75% on 12dpo. X

@H938 I went back to look at your premom screenshot. I think your CD17 is your peak, I'd go into the app and change it to that being your peak. So you are only 5DPO?

@pontipinemum is it, ive literally never done them tests before so have no clue- i also thought if I am 5dpo and af due on sunday it wouldnt even give me enough time to implant I dont think! X

@H938 i don't really know sorry! If ovulation is late can that push out AF? I've gone back for a look on my app I also peaked on CD 17, it has given me an est 32 day cycle this month, probably due to the 'late' period when I had the mc. Before I had 1, 28 day cycle. I only got my period back in Sept after not having it since before getting pregnant with DS

Either way though you can implant on 6DPO. Do you have a fairly set 28 day cycle?

@pontipinemum its all so complicated 😂 mine is usually 26 ish days i think. Before I changed the peak it said AF due sunday. It now says the following week CD 32. I will just have to wait and see I guess! X

@H938 I guess so! I wouldn't bother wasting any more tests for a few days anyway. (says me 😂) I just did a CB normal one and there is a reasonable line on it but I still think I'll hold onto the digital for a few days hours

@pontipinemum I deffo wont now - it would make more sense if i was 4dpo - I woke up with a cold sore and blood in my nose, had that before when pregnant but I dont want to get my hopes up!

you deffo have lines, once you see the digital you will feel much better I know - its a waiting game for sure

@H938 is a cold a symptom? I had a terrible cold last week but I think I just had one!
I've just been onto the EPU, talk about jumping the gun. They are open until the 22nd and then re-open the 27th. On the 22nd I would be 5+5 but thinking unless I have miscarried by then it might be better to be ignorant/ hopeful over Christmas

@pontipinemum cold sore on my lip i meant- which is for me. Also yes a cold usually is too as your immune system is low to create the baby - something like that!!

whats your history? Have you miscarried a few times before? Hopefully you will be fine. I forget about the chances of that when trying! Theres so much to think about x

@H938 I've heard to pregnancy causing coldsores!
I've had 4 miscarriages but had DS in between so never got anything investigated. They were all early, before 10 weeks. Only had to have D&C on one. I've booked bloods with my GP for next week both mon and wed so that should probably tell me everything I need to know

Does anyone know about ovulation after a chemical period? I had a chemical last month- see past threads under my name. Anyway, I usually ovulate around day 15 but this month it seems to be around day 11. I’m currently on day 14 so there could be a chance for another peak.

All information out there seems conflicting.

On the subject of colds etc, I remember distinctly having a cold in the 2ww when I conceived my first. Think there's def something about the lowered immune system!

About 6dpo here and trying desperately not to symptom spot. I had some crazily vivid dreams last night and that was a symptom I had before I got my BFP with DD so really hoping it's a good sign!🤞

I'm out for this month, due on the 10 but all day have been feeling like I'm starting and now have had bit of blood. My cp in Oct has really messed my cycle up 😩

Anyone else testing yet? I'm 6/7dpo... & actually I have stopped myself so far 🤣🤣 I'm not sure I'll hold off until my period is due, but I'm trying! Had alot going on the past few days so just catching up
Feeling a bit crap still but an incident within my family yesterday really put in perspective how you can't take anything for granted.. 💔

Congrats to the BFPs! 🎉 sorry to hear you've been having a tough time @LuceNumberTwo - I know what you mean, TTC can really feel all consuming. I hope you and your family are doing okay.

I had peak opk tests yesterday (one at 6am and one at about 5pm - they were 1.1 and 1.2). And then around 9/10pm last night I think I felt ovulation pains (hard to be sure). So we managed to DTD once more this morning (in a bit of a rush!) - do you think I should count today as ovulation day or 1DPO?

I'm going to try my hardest not to test until 12DPO at the earliest. In previous months I've found the negative tests have made me so upset and so I'd rather be nearer to my period before having any disappointment. Just think it is better for me personally x
