who cares if it is or it isn't? Too early for a pregnancy to have established, save yourself a lot of heart ache and wait and test later, when a result would actually mean something

Isthisreallydoable · 11/11/2023 01:55

It looks like an evaporation line to me. But as the PP has said, it's too early to test. I didn't get a positive pregnancy test until two weeks after my missed period. If you ovulated later than you think, it will take longer for your test to read positive. I'd wait to test until at least 3 days after your missed period.

Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed · 11/11/2023 01:56

Hi, thank you @secondfavouritesocks the tests says you can test as early as 6 days before. how many dpo would you test?

cleaninglady123 · 11/11/2023 01:58

I can't see a line, sorry.

Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed · 11/11/2023 01:59

@Isthisreallydoable i had no idea, I’ve seen posts on here with people commenting about the “strength” of someone’s positive at only 15 dpo coupled
tests say they can tell us up to 6 days earlier so that’s why I figured it was possible.

thank u for sharing w me!

Can see something very faint but could be an evaporation line.

Would expect a stronger line at 12DPO but as PP mentioned, you could've ovulated later than you realise. Good luck

Hi, thank you @secondfavouritesocks the tests says you can test as early as 6 days before. how many dpo would you test?

personally, I would not test less then 16 dpo. There is no point in testing earlier- most conceptions don't become pregnancies, then people get all upset about the number of "chemicals" they have had. All women have more "chemicals" than established pregnancies - no point at all in testing unless the pregnancy has actually implanted and established

sugarplum33 · 11/11/2023 07:56

What an awful reply @secondfavouritesocks. Who cares?! OP is TTC which is an absolute emotional rollercoaster for women and I can guarantee she cares very much. There are ways to explain the unreliability of early testing without being so unpleasant.

@Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed there is definitely a shadow of a line on your test but unfortunately clear blue tests are known for leaving lines like this. Many prefer to use pink dye tests for this reason and boots early tests are popular at the moment for their reliability. It's certainly not too early to test but of course with early testing can come worry and disappointment as well as happiness. I hope you get your positive result :)

Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed · 11/11/2023 10:37

@sugarplum33 thank you for your kindness and also answering the question too. 🩷✨ really appreciate it ☺️

That bottom one looks like mine did around 9/10dpo and now 12+2 🙏🏼

Keeping fingers crossed for you OP 🥰

bettynutkins · 12/11/2023 07:57

I'd say it's looking promising, I can see something.

Try this morning with first wee of the day?

sugarplum33 · 12/11/2023 08:25

@Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed There's definitely a very faint line on the bottom one. Hopefully it will start to darken over the next few days 🤞🏻

RCARB · 12/11/2023 10:37

Some people on this thread need to give their heads a wobble! Of course everyone is entitled to their opinion but quite frankly some comments that I've read are rude and hurtful. If we are all going through the same thing there is surely some empathy here, whether you would test this early or not! Everyone posts on here for reassurance and honesty, but lordy surely there is a more tactful way to deliver your thoughts, if not I would suggest you just keep scrolling as your comments are much less helpful than you think! Have some consideration for the OP and their feelings at what we all know to be a ridiculously emotionally and stressful time!

Anyway....rant over.....

I see a very faint line! Fingers crossed for you dear 🤞🏻💖. The TWW is such a hard time but try and keep positive! X x x

perdot · 12/11/2023 13:57

Also stunned by the negative reply from @secondfavouritesocks
Really no need for that. Why not spread some kindness rather than misery? We're all here to support each other not tear each other down. You only make yourself look bad...
Also it's not like she's testing at 7dpo or something mega early like that is it (even then no need to be so negative and unfriendly!)

12dpo for many people is the day before their period is due (me included).

I have had 3 pregnancies and always tested at 10dpo and had faint but reliable results. Certainly by 12dpo very clear results.

To respond to OP, I can see the line and this is how all my pregnancies have started. Will have everything crossed for you. Good luck! ❤️It's a tough slog getting your hopes up every month, so I hope you don't have to wait long x

Are you always this delightful! You don't have to comment you know.

OP I can see a faint line on all of your tests! Good luck xx

sugarplum33 · 15/11/2023 05:35

How are you getting on @Tryingtoconceivefingerscrossed?

User0311 · 15/11/2023 06:09
