How long did it take to conceive your second baby?

Hi all, we have a 3.5 month old baby which we are extremely grateful for. Our journey to having him took longer than we expected (took us 2 years to conceive). I’m 36 and we want a second baby so feel like I will probably start trying sooner rather than later. Had a c section so need some recovery time first 😅 Curious to know how long did it take you to have your second? I’m hoping second fine round it might be quicker but I know how random ttc is!

First baby took nearly a year despite monitoring cycles etc. DD2, had a conversation about a 2nd child, had mirena removed on a Tuesday, pregnant on the Thursday 😳. Hubby felt hard done by, he was looking forward to the 'trying'

I have a big family but it either took me ages to conceive or was very quick !! I think maybe I’m not that fertile even though I have a lot of dc !

Dc1 - 2 years
Dc2 - 18 months
Dc3 - 1 month
Dc4 - 1 month
Dc5 - 5 years
Dc6 - 15 months
Dc7 - 15 months

I have regular cycles but sometimes it just takes a long time !

First try both times! Extremely lucky.

I conceived baby number 2 very quickly.

I had an ectopic pregnancy as soon as we started trying. However the month after that I successfully conceived and baby number 2 is here safe and sound.

they discovered mild endo during the ectopic lap so this maybe explain why it took a while first time around.
