Confused - pregnancy tests

Hi everyone

hopefully someone can help. I’m about a day or two before my period, and I think I potentially ovulated day 15 the absolute latest day 16 of my cycle.

I’ve been taken pregnancy tests the last 3 days, some of which were positive others negative. Basically I’m seem to be testing positive lunch time and late evening. The lines are coming up straight away, but this morning I got a negative on a cheap test and a not pregnant on a clearblue monitor.

Attached is a pic of a test I have just taken. It’s a little bit darker than last nights one. Surely this means a BFP? I’m not sure because of my negative FMU test.

I do have a history of miscarriages and a chemical so a little worried.

thabks very much

I would say congratulations

Thank you. I’m just unsure as to why I’m getting negatives when I test first thing in the morning

I don’t trust these tests at all. I’ve had similar looking results and not been pregnant. They are so frustrating. I would wait a few days and do a digital again.

Some tests require more hcg than others

Clear blue still showed positive a bit after my early miscarriage

Hcg can stay in you for 1 - 9 weeks

Thanks everyone. @Torganer did you line come up straight away? That’s what is confusing me, it came up immediately me. I know clearblue if you leave it when it dries can bring up an evap line (this has happened to me), but this wasn’t the case.

this is probably another chemical or miscarriage, but I just find it so odd.

If you’re worried, you can do a blood HCG test at Nuffield Health for around £40-£60 depending on area. A lot, but may be cheaper then using 3/4 CB tests!

I always always always tested more positive in the pm! I stopped testing AM and just did later ones and compared those lines to check they did get darker each evening!

Keeping fingers crossed OP!

Hi, yes came up straight away! I even tested one with my husband’s urine and it did the same - no chance of pregnancy there!!
