Hi all

Any thoughts on ovulation induction with timed intercourse against IUI success? Clomid didn’t work for me so currently on Letrazole with the trigger shot as I had a 19mm follicle but no pregnancy. Does it take 3 rounds on average? Husbands side of things is fine and I’m under 30 but lean PCOS?

thanks!

Hi both,

am in a similar situation trying to decide between OI and IUI! Can I ask what you decided to do in the end?

Hi

I went down the monitored ovulation induction way and my second cycle of letrozole worked. So i’d recommend before spending more on IUI. However it was still working out for me around £800 a cycle with scans, medicine and blood tests.

Hi all

sorry for the very late reply.

so I did Letrazole in the end for 3 rounds and on the 3rd I was pregnant and didn’t need the IUI. I hope this helps but let me know if you have any questions on it. Similar to @gingerbiscuit24 it cost be around £800 a month. If there isn’t any issues on the guys side then I would say stick to OI.
