Advise Wanted: Potential Issue with Partner Sample

Hi, I am looking for some advice. We already have one child (4) and have been TTC for baby number 2 for approximately 2 years. Around 6 months ago my husband provided a 'sample' to be analysed but i fell pregnant shortly after so we did not phone for the results. I since miscarried and my husband requested the results of the previous sample today. They have now said that he needs to be booked in for a doctors call to discuss the results. Could this be bad news? I am really just looking to see if anyone else's partner has been asked to speak to a doctor following a sample and, if so, was it bad news? Sorry for the ramble, new here! Thanks in advance. x

I am so sorry about your miscarriage 💐

It could be bad news but given you did get pregnant and have had a child previously it is more likely to be ‘mediocre’ sort of news - for example a low sperm count or low motility. Which might reduce your chances, but aren’t the most difficult news (eg infertility)

I hope all goes well.

I have 8 miscarriages, an ectopic and 7 years of ‘trying’ behind me. Infertility issues on both sides. And we have ended up after it all with three lovely DC.

Hang in there xxx 💐

@MyBedIsMySpiritualHome Gosh, I can't even imagine how hard that must have been for you. You must be incredibly strong! ❤

Lol my DH would say stubborn but I will take ‘strong’ 😆

What I was trying to say was I know how it can feel - and all you can do is keep putting one foot in front of the other till you are through it x
