Boots early detection tests - lines

I’ve got a quick question if anyone can help. I’m only 10 DPO (I know far to early and still loads of time) but I took a test today the boots early detection. The only reason is cause we’re going to a wedding this weekend and I just want to know if I can drink or not. We’re 3 months in to trying I would love for it to be positive but not stressing (yet! 😂) if it’s not.
So took the test and to the eye there was no positive line there. I thought ok I’m either not pregnant or it’s too early. But I put it against the light and I could see a really really faint line within the first minute but then when I went to get my phone to take a pic it had disappeared probably after about 4/5mins?
is this what is called indent or evap line? Or do we think it could be positive but not enough HCG to detect?
I just wanna know if I can drink tonight or not 😂

I’ve got really sensitive boobs as well which I never get close to AF! Although now I’m just thinking maybe I’ve just never noticed?

Has anyone ever took a test early and the line disappeared but was pregnant later on with tests?

I don’t think this was a positive test, especially if it disappeared. I’ve had this happen where I can almost see something but then stark white and I’ve never been pregnant when this happens. That said it’s early so although it sounds like a negative result it may just be early and you still could be pregnant. I had a false negative with my first around 10dpo, got a faint positive 13dpo. I usually wait until my period arrives before I drink, I know it’s tough but false negatives before period are relatively common.

@Millie1501 you’re right! I took another and the same thing happened and I watched it disappear so it must not be a positive! But period due Sunday so we shall see!

No pregnant. Was just an evaporation line.

@Millie1501 thank you 🥰 defo still early days so I’m ok at the moment, I just keep thinking it’ll happen at the right time.
period arrived bang on time so least I know all the ovulation tests, BBT that I’ve done are all in sync at the moment. Just a case of keep trying!

Hello I’m in a similar boat so thought I’d add my post on to here,
my mind is racing and I need someone with experience to put my mind at ease either way. I have taken 4 pregnancy tests over last few days, on day 10,11 and 12po. I’ve had very faint lines on both clear blue and boots early. But they’re very hard to see until between 5-10 minutes. I’m seeing so much about evaporation lines but can they happen this often, 4 in a row? Please any help or advice
ps obviously the lines have got darker over the days on the first ones!

Thank you, if you’ve had experience before do evaporation lines ever look like this. I don’t want to seem naive I’ve just entered a rabbit hole and I don’t want to get my hopes up if they could be xx

Evaporation lines don't get darker. I would say that you've got your BFP there.

Your lines are all obvious and dark. You can barely see evap lines.

the evap lines on the one I did disappeared when you touched the lines and were gone after 10mins & they weren’t the pink colour like yours are! I’d defo say yours are positive!

They look positive to me, congratulations. Get yourself a nice digital test in the next few days to confirm the result 😊
