Have just been refered to james cook in Middlesbrough. TTC for 4 years. I have i ds age 6. So far have had some tests with husband and we have un explained infertility. Hoping to try IUI 1st as it is cheaper than IVF and sounds less scary. I'm now v.anxious while i wait for appointment. Don't know what to expect!!!!

i havent im afraid, but i did give birth to dd there as we live close by and found them fantastic, their new maternity wing is second to none and theya re investing heavilly into this side of things!..in my opinion i would be happy to go there for treatment

thanks for that rose garden, thats a bit more reassuring as i'm not orginally from the area so don't know how good the services are.

the maternity wing was being re-developed/designed/modernised when i had my dd there almsot 5 years ago, very state of the art.
the only problem i had was my midwife was 'old school', but thats it!..she was an old mare, but other midwife sorted her out...facilities and care was excellent..good luck
