Reflexology

Hi all

My husband and I are #TTC #1 (we are now in month 4). It just occurred to me that I went to a reflexologist last year and she mentioned after the session that she had noted something in my pelvic area (I don't remember the exact words that she used at the time) but she didn't say it in an alarming way. In hindsight, I think she was inviting me to probe but I didn't because, in my head I thought - I'm not experiencing symptoms of anything. I hadn't thought about it since and now since TTC I keep thinking back to it and wondering was she hinting that something was off. How much do you think a reflexologist would be able to detect when it comes to fertility? Has anyone had anything similar said to them by a reflexologist?

Thank you

I would go back to her and ask what she meant

She just meant it was an area that needed healing I imagine.

She isn't medically trained so cannot diagnose.

Thank you. If we do not have any luck in TTC this side of Christmas, I think I will make another apt

Thanks for the reply! Im curious about what type of healing she could have been referring to

I honestly think its a load of faff.
My fertility reflexology does healing reading ect

  1. She balanced my ovaries.. I only have one working ovary so I don't know how she balanced both . My left has always been dormant even in ivf cycles so she didn't balance anything at all.
  2. Cleansed my fallopians . Only have 1 fallopian tube as lost the other to endo.
  3. Absolutely no reason why I'm not getting pregnant. No blockages in tubes ( had laproscopy 4 months after this to remove my left as it was blocked )
And no conditions ect .. I have endo and pcos
  1. Told me I'd have 3 children.. this is our last ever ivf cycle as we can't afford it anymore plus I'm almost 40 so unless I'm going to get pregnant with triplets rhen she's wrong again.

I don't beLieve irs possible to know or heal these things and which is why they should never be replaced for any medical diagnosis

4 months ttc is absolutely nothing and your worrying about nothing. It can take upto 2 years for healthy young couples

I went to a reflexologist when TTC - she said I had a blockage (can't remember the exact details). I had monthly appointments with her for a few months and then fell pregnant. Obviously can't be sure that it was down to the reflexology but it may have helped!
