Heavy bleeding followed by no ovulation (anovulation)

Hi! Sorry in advance, long post. I have a doctors appointment next week but thought I might check if anyone has experienced anything similar.

I have been ttc for a little over a year now and have fallen pregnant twice, unfortunately both ended in early miscarriages (last one being in May of this year).

In September I ovulated like normal. A few days later I woke up with pain in my lower tummy. It was really very painful. This went on for about two days. Then I got my period one week early. It was very light for the first two days, then it became extremely heavy and I was bleeding trough both tampons and pads. Had to change every hour. This was not a miscarriage as it was only a few days after ovulation. Tried to book a doctors appointment but they could not see my until two weeks later so decided to go private. They double booked me and after that I just gave up on seeing anyone. Bleeding continued for about 10 days.

Anyway, I feel absolutely fine now but I have not ovulated this month (October). I am on cycle day 36 and am 6 days late (not pregnant). I am also worried that something is wrong since my last miscarriage. Before it I had a lot of symptoms around ovulation (sex drive and an increase in cervical mucus) but I feel that that has been missing. My CM does not change at all throughout my cycle. However, I have gotten positives on OPKs and when I saw my gynecologist a few month ago on an unrelated matter she told me that I was about to ovulate.

My question is: has anyone else experienced a month with no ovulation? When did your period come back and when did you ovulate again? Anyone had a miscarriage and then had their CM change (and other symptoms that used to be present).

Thanks in advance!
