Confusing HCG Tests

Hey everyone,

New here and just looking for some advice.
Ive had some really confusing tests over the last 3 days and just wondering if anyone has ever had the same?

If pregnant I would be very early. Conception would have been 2 weeks and 3 days, which I think would make me 4 weeks+3 pregnant.

Symptoms wise I have had headaches, mild cramping and increased urination.

I tested with my first urine on the 25th and there was a clearly visible test line.

I tested again with my first morning urine on the 26th and negative/maybe a very very slight line. On the same day I tested with my 2nd urine of the day and the line was stronger than the 1st of that day but less prominent than the day before.

I tested this morning (27th) and had the same results. Negative/very faint line in my first urine and a stronger line on my 2nd which was even more faint than the previous 2 days.

Has anybody had anything like this before and have any advice? I have PCOS which I know cause cause havoc with your hormones and also make it more difficult for implatation.

Thankyou

Not ideal set of results. Are these tests following your first urination?

I vaguely recall best to test first thing when you wake up, as opposed to downing a bunch of water and testing as soon as you're able to urinate.

That was my thoughts too. Yes the ones labelled 1st were from urine as soon as I woke up with no fluids. The ones labelled 2nd are tests taken with my 2nd wee of the day with limited liquids

@KHpraying some people have stronger positives on their second urine, especially if they drink a lot before bed/overnight the first can be quiet diluted

Thankyou. I do usually drink quite a lot before bed. I'm hoping the fading lines aren't a bad sign but may lay off the tests for a week as it's been quite the rollercoaster for me!

I always got a stronger SMU than with the first, I don't want to be too negative but it looks to me as though you're having a chemical, regardless of the change between FMU/SMU any of those tests should be darker than the one taken on the 25th. Really sorry OP, but again it's just my opinion.

Thanks for your reply. I was worried that this may be an indicator with the fading lines but I haven't bled so I think I was just looking for more opinions. Don't be sorry, I'm thankful for your honesty

I had the same last year, got my BFP which gradually got darker & then lighter. Once the line was almost completely gone I started bleeding about 2 days after. TTC is always a waiting game, it's so difficult.
