When would you do a pregnancy test?

I (ideally) need to identity a pregnancy early as I will need to arrange a private progesterone prescription.

I had a chemical pregnancy last month. I have 30 day cycles. I got a BFP 2 days before my predicted period, but started bleeding on what would have been CD 33. Tests zapped to negative that day and I had a heavy 4 day period.

If I took the first day of that bleeding as CD1, I’m now on CD21.

When would you suggest for me to test with an early detection test?

I fall pregnant very easily. Staying pregnant is tricky.

What proof does the doc need to see to write your prescription?

I also knew I needed to take progesterone. I tested 6 days before I was due (28 day cycles)

A scan with a pregnancy sac in utero. I need to travel to my clinic so there are a lot of logistics to arrange! Waiting until day of missed period doesn’t give me much wriggle room.

But they're not going to see a sac in utero before your missed period or at 4w.

Are you meaning you want as much notice as possible to arrange the appointment and travel to the scan?

Exactly- I need to book the appointment and arrange travel.
