Mild cramping 1 week before ovulation

Hi, I just wanted to see if anyone experiences mild cramping for a week before ovulation? I know its normal to have ovulation pain a few days before ovulation but is a week before normal? I then have mild cramps on and off until ovulation.

I am also ovulating day 23 of my cycle meaning I only have 10 days before period. Is this too short?

For my first pregnancy I remember cramping all day at 11dpo and got my bfp at 15dpo when i braved testing. This time in my tww I had it from 6dpo and today (10) have my faint positive. The prickling tingling was unmistakable for me this time so it was frustrating waiting for a test that could confirm!

Thanks so much for your reply. My cramping is a week before I have ovulated not after :( I still haven’t ovulated. I’m on a flashing smiley face and have been since about 4 days ago. It looks like I will probably ovulate again on cycle day 23 which is quite late isn’t it. Just strange how I always seem to feel like I’m ovulating a week before I actually do.
