OPK confusion!

I had a negative ovulation test yesterday morning (CD13) but positive by 12pm the same day, getting darker throughout the day. I also got CB static smiley

Today (CD14) my tests are darker than yesterday

Am I ovulating today or tomorrow?

If your tests are still getting darker they haven't peaked yet. You ovulate 12-24hrs after your peak opk and then the egg survives another 12-24 hours. I would aim to dtd today and tomorrow and possibly day after too if poss! If you managed any times in the last 5 days they could put you in with a chance too. Good luck 😊

Thank you! After looking again they're not actually darker - they are the same

Does this still mean probably tomorrow?

As I say, it's typically 12-24hrs from peak. I think if it stays high, it counts from start of peak. So could well be today but the egg will likely still be around tomorrow so still aim to dtd today/tomorrow. 🤞🏻

Thank you
I definitely got peak yesterday
However this morning first thing (7am) I got a clear negative.
Not sure why I decided to do another just now at 8.30am but it's now positive!!!! But not as dark as peak
I hate how confusing my body is now. I never had any of these issues with TTC DS :(

If my peak was yesterday should I assume O today?

I'm only stressing because I need to have a blood test on a certain day so need to have my O date right

Some people have very fast peaks hence testing twice a day so you don't miss it completely, others have a more gradual build up, and a few have a double peak (this is less common). Probably some of your urine was more concentrated so gave a stronger reading. Just have sex each day until the tests are negative again. You're (slightly) more likely to get pregnant from having sex the day before ovulation than the day of ovulation as you need time for the sperm to travel up to the egg.

Oh just seen your update, yes I'd count yesterday as your peak if you've had a negative and not as strong now

Thank you!
I had a lot of cramps yesterday evening and my test was lighter late last night
Slight temp rise this morning but not enough to say I O'd yesterday

Fingers crossed for a nice temp jump tomorrow!
