So confused about my OPK app

Im currently using the premom app to try help track ovulation. This is my first month using it. It told me my peak was yesterday and i've taken another test today that I think looks darker than yesterdays. But the apps saying it's lower. What do you guys think? I've taken a pic of the tests next to each other to compare them. The top is the one from yesterday (premoms saying peak) and the bottom one is today?

@SparklyFrostedPine youre not going mad, todays defo looks darker. Could it maybe be the lighting was different when you uploaded the pics? Have you tried re-uploading them?

Im glad to know you see it too! I showed it to my hubby and he agreed todays looked darker. I could try putting them both into the app again to see if i get different readings. The lighting may of been a bit different mostly down to how dark and cloudy its been today, yesterday it was a bit brighter and less cloudy. I'll update in a bit.

Ok so its said completely different results this time for both of them. Im not sure whether or even how to edit or change the results particularly in the app. I dont think yesterday was my peak though. Maybe i should just delete that test from yesterday completely! Added some screenshots of what the app thinks they are level wise now! Not high enough to be an actual peak right? I think it has to be over 1?

I would say today’s looks darker but that might be cos it’s fresh, I probably wouldn’t bother putting yesterdays in the app again since it’s dry. I find the app reads best when I enter the results between 5-10 mins after taking it and in the exact same light every time. Using the phone flash is a good idea to make them the same lighting.
looking at those tests, I wouldn’t quite say the test line is as dark as the control line. You may still get one darker.

@SparklyFrostedPine to delete a test pic you just go into tests & then swipe to the left across the test & you can delete it & upload it again

This is true regarding the lighting you can see a noticeable difference to the tests I've taken at night vs the day even though its taken in the same room with the light on. I think at this point I may as well stick it out doing it how I've done it rather than swapping to flash now. I think maybe using the flash all of my next cycle though makes a lot of sense though! I really hope I get a more obvious positive over the next few days. The guessing game is killing me and now I don't know I can rely on the app to get it right either!
