Positive test after implantation bleed

Hi ladies, my DH and I are ttc baby #2. With my DD I had implantation bleeding but I didn’t realise that’s what it was at the time but when my period didn’t show a few days later I tested.

To now…I’m currently on 10dpo and since 5dpo I’ve had quite a lot of cramping. I’ve just been to the toilet and there was some light pink blood when I wiped. I do sometimes get spotting before my period but this seems too early. If it was an implantation bleed, in theory how long should I wait before I can do a test? Could I do one in the morning as the bleed might have happened days after implantation? I’m totally in my head about this!

Following this as I’ve been trying to research this tonight after having a tiny anount of blood today - I could t figure out if the bleeding would happen straight after implantation or if it takes a while to travel down as such?

I know they say 48 hours after implantation so might try and hold out to Tuesday to use my FRER! (10dpo by then for me).

@Coulditbe33 do you have an update on this? I’ve had a tiny bit of spotting today 10dpo which I wouldn’t normally have

On the day your period is supposed to arrive, if it hasn't! This ensures a reliable test and avoids unnecessary anxiety!

@Armdjm mine unfortunately was just a very early period.
