Hi everyone, my first post on here but been reading through so many threads. I'm not long off the mini pill and recently started tracking with OPKs and my temp with a second hand AVA watch.
My temperature hasn't shown much variation before weirdly until last week when I got my first peak on the 7th October on clear blue digital and easy at home. Also had really strong ovulation symptoms with sore boobs, ovulation pain, very bloated for 48 hours and lh was back to really low by the 9th October and has stayed low.
So then I get excited and start to watch my temperature which proceeds to become completely erratic for several days... until 13th when it is very slowly rising each day. So I haven't got a clue if I ovulated or not in reality.
So in my head I'm out but yesterday which I guess could be 5dpo I woke with a headache and started having cramping which has continued off and on and is still around today. I fully expect to be as dry as a bone but keep going to the toilet to check AF hasn't arrived because I have so much CM. My cycles aren't regular enough yet to tell when she might turn up so I guess it could be on its way with these symptoms but also unusual with the CM.
Cervix is also still very high.... for now anyway.
I guess the point of my post is someone put me out of my misery and tell me I'm not in with a chance because I am going completely crazy over here! I am not an emotional person but had a big melt down to the OH last night (which then worried me even more AF is on the way 🙄)

Any ideas...

2 things. Are you using a basal temp thermometer? And using it first thing in the morning before doing anything?

have you tried ovulation sticks?

Thanks for your reply!

Yes so I confirmed a peak on the 7th with 2 different brands of opk.

I am tracking temp with an Ava fertility bracelet which seems to have good reviews for bbt but it's my first month using it!

I know it can be so frustrating when your TTC.
give yourself a few months for your body to regulate - and have sex every 2-3 days

i used only clear blue ovulation sticks and they seemed to be spot on. Had to test morning and evening as you can find you may not peak in the AM but by the PM you do! It’s crazy!

best of luck, try to enjoy the journey, makes it a lot easier x

@bungletru this is my experience with the clear blue tests (I use the digital two day ones). I’ve only been testing in the mornings (like it was recommended) for the past two months and been getting all negative- very disheartening. 2 days ago I started to get cramps so I thought I’d also test when I got home in the evening and to my surprise I received my first smiley! So definitely test either twice a day or in the afternoon id say! Good luck!
