Anyone else in the 3 month wait to ttc after methotrexate for ectopic pregnancy?
I thought the 2ww was long, this one’s torture.
In three months I’ve got from actively trying to conceive, to becoming pregnant very quickly and being ecstatic, to finding out the pregnancy was ectopic and being heartbroken. I don’t want to wish the time away but roll on january…..

I am also in the three month wait. What are you planning to do to pass the time? I have tried to keep busy but also keep thinking about TTC again.

I had an ectopic in February after ttc for 18 months 😭😭😭 finally thought it had happened then found out it was ectopic.
Been trying again since the end of May and nothing so far 😩

@Lostlawyer26 sorry for your loss. I’m trying to stay busy too. Upping my health game, planning on going to the gym more once the doc gives the go ahead and just focusing on my well being but it’s hard isn’t it to think of anything else. How far into the wait are you?

@SameagainasIs I’m sorry, it’s truly horrible isn’t it. Feels so cruel to get what you want and then have to loose it, are you tracking ovulation? I found it really helped me to pin point my fertile days.

I’ve been there and it was absolute torture! I spent the time getting myself fitter, eating well and healing a bit emotionally. Fell pregnant again immediately when we tried. He’s now a crazy 7 year old haha. Fingers crossed for you all!

@Krawnprackers thankyou, I searched these threads for positive stories when I was first told and it still makes me happy to hear the happy outcomes. That’s my plan now, get myself a bit more healthy physically and mentally and ready to start trying again soon.

It’s a very raw time and honestly in hindsight it’s probably a good thing to wait as I found the whole thing very traumatic. Wishing you the best of luck!

@Maybabyhopefull I am so sorry for your loss too. I had my injection in August so not long left to go. Looking back the time has passed quite quickly. I have eaten well but exercise seems to have not been a priority. I am upset about that but also think I’ve needed to process everything mentally so I don’t need to add more pressure to that! The thing I worry about the most is falling pregnant again. I am considering a HyCoSy, although there are no guarantees.
