Hi guys, I’m feeling extremely lonely and lost right now and hoping for some answers. Currently TTC, I’m 29 and my boyfriend is 38, awaiting his SA results. Being referred to a fertility clinic. Had hormone blood tests all normal range. AMH is 17.9, not sure if that’s good? Im really struggling at getting pregnant. I had my HSG done this week and my results were my left ovary and fallopian tube all healthy, womb all healthy but my right took a long time to fill up with dye but it didn’t leak out so a probable blockage. Couldn’t give me a definite answer. They said I can have a laparoscopy for further investigations, endometriosis etc. I’m so stuck on what to do. I feel heartbroken being told I only have one tube. I don’t know what next steps to do. Anyone have any success stories or could help in what they think is best? My doctors aren’t great and I feel so out of depth not knowing what to do. Thank you.

Hi, it's still very possible to conceive with one tube. Even if you ovulate on the side with the blocked tube your good tube can actually pick up the egg. I only have one tube and I ovulated from the tubeless side when I conceived. Good luck.

One tube since early 20s due to an emergency operation. I was offered a laparoscopy, which I accepted and it came back all ok.
Over the years, I did often worry about conceiving but that worry became real when i was TTC.
I did have a positive outcome with TTC both times. I had both ovaries so as pp said, the good tube (for me the only tube) can pick up the egg.
Wishing you all the best.

I had a larascopy in January due to an ectopic pregnancy and lost my right tube. I too was very worried as I'm 39 and wondered if I would get ever pregnant. My husband and I tried for 4 cycles this year and we conceived in September. Now 5 weeks pregnant and praying for a healthy pregnancy. So really, one tube is all you need! Good luck xxx
