I had a lap and dye (it failed) 4 months ago. I have my follow up this week with the consultant to discuss next steps. They massively messed up the procedure and my after care and have frequently sent incorrect letters/details to me and my GP. Needless to say I have 0 confidence in them.
I wondered how long people usually wait for a post op appointment to discuss the procedure and next steps? I had to chase this and my gut felt they had completely forgotten about me, so would be interested to hear others experience.
I am also aware 4 months to wait for an appointment in general is super fast, but I did get a fertility referral about 18 months ago so it’s been slow.
