No period but negative test

Negative test and I'm due on today. Feel really nauseous and keep heaving. I don't understand what's going on. I just don't feel right but I can't be pregnant because the test is stark negative.
Anyone experienced this?
I've definitely ovulated confirmed by ovulation strip and symptoms.

You can be pregnant, just with not enough hcg to show on a test yet. You could also be about to start your period, only time will tell.

Keep testing every 2 days until you either get a bfp or AF comes.

It's also worth noting that ovulation strips do not tell you you've definitely ovulated they just detect the LH surge that precedes ovulation. Basically, they confirm you tried to ovulate (as do many of the ov symptoms), only bbt or 21 day progesterone tests can confirm actual ovulation.

Okay thanks for the advice. I actually did have a blood test day 21 progesterone to check so will phone Gp. I do have known fertility issues (well mainly with my partner) but we have been trying 5 months now

Did another test this evening and come up like this. Maybe an evap line. Still feel extremely nauseous and exhausted. If AF doesn't arrive by Wednesday I'll take another test.

So what happened then ? Did you get proper positive?
Am in a same situation. Period due today but no sign and get proper negatives.

So the next few days I got positives on FRER Tests. (I'll attach pics of how faint etc)
Unfortunately a few days after that I started to bleed so would've been an early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I was gutted.
