So i Had fertility reflexology on monday and I can honestly say it was the nicest experience I've ever had. I've never felt so relaxed. It was was truly pampering.
She wants me to come back next Monday before I start my ivf cycle however my period is due tomorrow and I suffer from severe periods. I have very troublesome periods , flow and pain and don't really like to make plans during such time and the time of day dosent suit me. I'd have to make alot of rearrangements to work around the time.
I don't know weather to cancel or not.
I'm just wondering did anyone experience any particular benefit with regards to helping? Or was it simply Just relaxing?

Sorry I just realised I've posted this twice. Oops. I thought the first one didn't post.

Hi - I did reflexology, acupuncture the whole shabang when I went for my first round of nhs and the year before I got to that point. It didn't help with my ivf but did give me an hour or 2 every week where I could switch off from the stress.

My success cycle of ivf I didn't do anything like that I just think the meds and things were tailored better for me at that time.

Wishing you lots of luck!!! Xxxx

@Scarlett868 thanks for that. I figured it's probably more aimed at stress which I know stress can negatively impact success. You just read so many women saying they got pregnant after reflexology . Even my reflexoligist said so many women have got pregnant after seeing her.
