BBT huge drop 8dpo- worried!

Hello everyone, really desperate for some advice. For the first month I have been tracking my BBT. For reference I had a miscarriage in June & have since had to have two surgeries to fully remove everything. This is my first cycle since my hysteroscopy & my consultant told me I probably wouldn’t ovulate- I actually did, just 6 days later than normal for me. Can anyone take a look at my bbt? I haven’t been worried but had a huge drop below cover line today at 8dpo, does anyone know if this means anything or if there is something wrong with me? It’s so frustrating the first time I got pregnant I didn’t obsess and it happened so quickly, but since my loss all I want is to be pregnant again, being messed around from the hospital for 5 months and 2 surgeries have been the worst time of my life.

I'm sorry for your mc and surgeries @GeorgeR28 you've really been through a lot.

I only started tracking temp this cycle so I'm not very experienced. What I can gather so far is that there's so many variables (sleeping with mouth open etc) on readings and it's not accurate in determining outcomes, even if all the conditions for readings are perfect every time.

I've used it to try to pin point ovulation and then stopped tracking. I thought it would be too stressful to continue past that point as it's all out of our hands anyway.

Don't be too disheartened that you've had a dip in your temp, it doesn't mean you're out at all. 💐

Thankyou so much that means a lot.
I did have really disturbed sleep last night so that could have also contributed I guess?
I was going to stop tracking after ovulation this month but I thought maybe carry on as getting used to seeing patterns may help me- but I think it’s just made me obsess 😂 I just want our happy ending!
thanks so much again ☺️

Exactly! How you've slept, clothing, covers/no covers... So much can affect the readings. I read something like they only predict correctly in about 20% of cases.

I think it would make me obsess too though, it's perfectly natural under the circumstances. Go easy on yourself. 😊

Thankyou so much, I feel a bit of relief now! ☺️
