Transferred an embryo with very little chance of success so I’m pragmatic ! So far every test has been a stark negative. Been given a 16 day TTW which takes me a week past when I’d typically get my period

Sadly, my LO and I have both been very unwell with a flu like illness. I’ve not taken anything for it since it all says not suitable if you are pregnant . BUT if I’m out, then I could take the meds and be able to be more present for my little one / return to work (which I need to do as a solo mum!)

I’m tempted to say that if it’s still negative on the day of my period, I can officially pull the pin even through my OTD is still a week away…

At what point did you recognise that this wasn’t your round?

After 4 years of infertility/ TTC, I'm never very optimistic these days, and I know the signs of my period inside out! So as soon as I get blood/ those familiar cramps, I'm always pretty sure I'm out.

It's kind of hard to say though because I don't know what it's actually like to be pregnant and some people say it's similar to period symptoms.

Either way, I don't think that a bit of paracetamol is going to do you any harm at such an early stage. Hope you feel better soon.

The progesterone is messing with my cycle so no idea - Ended up with a cracking menstrual migraine which suggests I’m definitely out ! Unfortunately not the sort of thing paracetamol will even make a dent in 😭

I’ve rang my clinic to check but can’t get a response .
