Ovulation after miscarriage advice?

Hi all

I had surgical management for an incomplete miscarriage on 8th Sept (after medical management for MMC a month earlier), and had scan last week which confirmed everything was complete. I haven't really known when to start with ovulation sticks or even whether I should. I use the digital clearblue ones. I did one last week which had the blank smilie. I decided not to bother after that and just forget about it.

However today I had the stretchy egg white discharge which prompted me to do again. Still a blank smilie. Not sure what to think. Does anyone who has experienced similar got any insight at all?

We were told by gynae consultant (to my surprise) that we didn't need to wait for period to try again, but I'm more wanting to track to try and get an idea of whether my body gets back to normal and when I may expect a period so I'm not caught out.

@Khanga27 the clear blue sticks should not be used after a mc before your cycle has returned they are not reliable I learnt that the expensive way 🙈 Also you will always get a blank circle on the first go and since you left it before you tested again it has probably reset and thinks you are starting your next cycle so another blank. I've always found strips better after my MCs before period has come back

@bringmearainbow Oh thanks so much for replying. I'm glad I've only used 2 in the box rather than kept trying. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. Thanks 😊 x

@bringmearainbow which strips would you recommend? I've probably already missed it at this point so perhaps I'll just see what happens

@Khanga27 I like the easy at home ones and there is a free app you can use with them that will tell you the level
