Hello!

Already taking folic acid to prepare to TTC, but see a lot of people recommending vitamin d supplements too, as we head into winter especially. What quantity is everyone taking?

I'm m taking vitamin d3 and K2 tablets combined, apparently K2 in combo with d3 is best, read up on the research it's interesting, for general health too. I'm taking a high dose of 100mcg of each per tablet, one tablet per day

Thank you both!

@LozDo v interesting, thank you. Did your doc recommend or did you find via your own research? I get so lost when I look it all up as so many suggestions, which is kind of why I've only stuck to folic acid so far! And sorry if this is a silly question, but why D3 (as opposed to just vitamin D I guess)?

Feel like I need to get a bit more clued up on my supplements as we head into winter.

Hi, I would highly recommend reading The optimal dose book. Very interesting and informative book. I take 2000iu a day and my partner takes 4000iu a day due to having health issues. There is also a Facebook page with the same name as the book. Hope this helpsSmile

The it starts with an egg book agrees, with more like 2000 iu upwards
