Hey 😊
I am 2 days late, so not too far late really… but have been feeling sicky on and off and boobs are a little sensitive. I feel like the chances of my being pregnant are slim purely because i thought i was out of my ovulation window. Window ended the 17th, but had unprotected sex 2 days later.

I don’t want to go running out and buying tests, because i don’t know if it would even show on a test yet.

Has anyone ever experienced this and then been pregnant? Just some advice would be lovely.

With my last pregnancy I bought a test when my period was 2 days late and the line immediately showed up as soon as I dipped it in my wee, I didn't have to wait 2 minutes.

Maybe try a different test with the first wee of the day as that's meant to be more concentrated show easier

At two days it should show unless the test you are using doesn't detect that low levels. I would try different brand with morning pee.

I did a test when I was about 1-2 days late and the positive was so faint I didn’t actually see it at first. I kept testing for the following days and it progressively got darker. It turns out I ovulated a lot later than expected and I was a bit further behind than I thought. Keep us updated 🤞🏻

@Ceebeebee87 this is interesting… so it could be actually that i may have potentially ovulated later and the test i used wasn’t sensitive enough so wouldn’t pick it up.

When I fell pregnant with DD2, I ovulated on cd21, rather than cd 18. I wouldn’t have picked it up without the clearblue tests I was using. That being said my luteal phase is 14 days so my period would have been due a few days later than normal.

I’d try a more sensitive test if you can get one, also for some hcg is higher in the afternoon rather than first morning urine.

@Scalessayeek so logic is saying to me now, its possible… because its 2 days so close to my supposed ovulation cycle. If it was 5/6 days i wouldn’t even be thinking if pregnancy tbh i would be thinking stress related as to why AF hasn’t arrived. I’m thinking leave it another couple of days and go from there just incase it is stress related. Thankyou for this! Also yes i can vouch for this, my urine used to show more on an afternoon on past tests in previous pregnancies.

UPDATE: Still no flow as of yet… will see what tomorrow brings then go from there as would be 5 days late then
