The month we stopped taking supplements, stopped timing things, stopped tracking ovulation, stopped SMEP. We only DTD once the whole month!

… And that’s the month we get pregnant! 🥹After almost a year of trying! It was the same when we conceived our first DD too.

Why does this happen?! We were very stressed when we conceived, with lots going on in life, so we certainly weren’t more relaxed etc.

Just seems like such a coincidence! Has anyone else experienced this?

It happens for quite a lot of people! But on the other hand, some people don't get that success 🙈
I've been pregnant twice (no kids yet though as both ended in MMC) but both were conceived in months we only DTD once! First one I'd given up many months prior as it took 2.5 years to conceive, recent one was 6 months but was tracking etc, could only DTD once because of being away for work!

@MollyMarples yep so strange! The maths of it doesn't make sense, one day is so much less chance statistically 🙈

And the lower stress I think does help, but yeah for my first pregnancy it was at least 6 months of having given up before it happened so don't think it's a magic cure either!
