For christs sake yes, it’s far too early to do a test. People get so nuts about this.

Put the tests down, live your life and come back in a week!

I found this website really helpful, it says how likely you are to get a correct test result at different days post ovulation. Countdown to pregnancy

At 6dpo it's unlikely you've implanted so no HCG there to test yet. Best of luck ❤️

Yeah far far far too early! Just wait until your period is due then test otherwise you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. If it's only your second month you need to just take a breath and remember life goes on whilst you're TTC. Don't miss out on all the good stuff obsessing, it can be a really long journey!

It is a little early, yes. Biologically there is practically 0% chance you would get a positive at 6DPO.

You need to wait until at least 10/11DPO. Ideally 14DPO but I know it's hard to wait.

PureAmazonian · 29/09/2023 10:05

It takes around a 7ish days for implantation to even occur. So you 6dpo is far far to early. I got a very faint line when I was 10dpo. But I had already developed pretty strong nausea by that point, which then develops into HG for the whole pregnancy. So pregnancy symptoms were pretty strong from the offset with me and I knew I was pregnant, hence why I tested so early. I did also feel implantation, I felt sharp prickling sensations on my left side 6dpo. I noted it on my Flo app the precise moment I felt this and 4 days later I got my positive.

Hi everyone I'm vvv new to forums so some help and guidance would be good ❤ I'm currently 9dpo and I took a clearblue ultra early digital on 6dpo -obvz negative! I took another clearblue ultra early test today 9dpo and a blank white negative. Has anyone else had this and went on to get a BFP? XX

MumofBoysss · 29/09/2023 10:24

@PureAmazonian what test did u get ur faint BFP on? And congratulations 🥰

moosey89 · 29/09/2023 10:28

@MumofBoysss that's still super early, a lot of people wouldn't even have had implantation yet! The advice is always to wait until your period is due to test as it's so much more reliable. 9dpo it could easily go either way.

Stephy1024 · 29/09/2023 10:48

Oh bless you. We all know the feeling. So I tested positive at 9dpo but I know I had implantation cramps at 6dpo. Which is earlier than most. So there's still time. Your far from too old. I'm 36 and I got my positive last week. Best of luck.

@Bex4567 thank you ❤ I have been trying for about 2 months no tracking or anything at all. I know this isn't recommended but I bought clomid online as my fertility doctor from years ago said she can't give me it again without another consult and it's so expensive here in the UK so it came from India lol I took it day 4-9 of my cycle as it arrived on day 4 of my period so I took it straight away I thought why not, started tracking ovulation with easy@home n premom app then bam! My ovaries were feeling full n boosted both sides!! Then I peaked then I dtd day before and day of ovulation and day after too and 10dpo BFP!

MumofBoysss · 01/10/2023 22:56

Sorry I meant 4-8 days of my cycle. 🤣

Exactly what I was going to say. it's virtually impossible to get a positive that early.
