If this is implantation, is it normal?

Given a timeline of this:

  • Ovulated on the 18th
  • Mild Cramping on the 24th (which felt like a tugging on the right of my uterus)
  • Sore breasts on the 24th, which have continued up until now
  • A strange but strong tingling and fluttering feeling on the right side of uterus on the 25th
  • Period should not be due until the 2nd
Other symptoms include fatigue, mood swings and some light headedness.

I usually have cramping for the 5 days leading up to menstruation, but what I felt on the 24th and 25th were too early for that.

Question: if this sounds like it could have been implantation, is it possible to have very light cramps and twinges continue for the following days? Today I experienced some very brief mild pains around my uterus and so I'm concerned and confused about all of this.

I've heard implantation symptoms (Cramping especially) shouldn't last more than 3 days or so, Which is why I'm confused. This is currently the 28th and I don't think I should be having painful dull twinges?

I'm unsure if this is a continuation of implantation symptoms, or a sign my period is coming after all, given that it's in 4 days.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you

Sounds silly but have you done a cheap test ? Lots of people get their BFP 4/5 days before AF so you never know. It's hard to know though and I guess you won't know until a positive test / AF arrives.

Thanks,
I tested a couple days ago, but that was clearly too soon. It was a slightly suspicious looking negative, but no clear line, no clear absence of a line.
I don't have anymore tests so figured I'd wait and see if AF shows up (while researching and stressing like crazy-)

I hope it's a positive outcome for you 🙏
I'm only about 3/4 DPO and I imagine I'm going to be similarly testing early.

I’m in the very early stages of pregnancy (3+5) and keep having what feels like mild period cramps, completely normal. Its to do with your uterus expanding and changing

Catherine2023 · 28/09/2023 20:04

Thank you, I hope you get a positive when you test! 🤞

And you!

Sounds good - sore boobs - light headaches

Had both of those briefly when pregnant before early miscarriage

Good luck

@Catherine2023 were you pregnant? I am currently having similar symptoms and hoping it could be pregnancy.. only 7pdo but had twinge /nippy feeling on left side of uterus two days ago (5dp5dt) cramping / slight dizzy and been burping up bile to the back of my throat a few times today 7dpo , not feeling sick as such but just slightly queasy ?! I could have ovulated earlier as not checking ovulation, so could be 9dpo ??
