Hello @Maz85aw i went through this a few months ago. I was so perplexed by it I took a test 3 days after it happened just in case (test was negative). Apparently you can just get the odd period that is lighter/shorter just like you can miss a period for no reason. I think it can be linked to age (I’m 37) it didn’t happen like that for me again BUT my periods have gone from 5-7 days to now only 3 days and this has been the case for the last 4 cycles. 2 days of v heavy bleeding with intense pain, one day of light bleeding with no pain and then nothing. I also now spot towards the end of my cycle/just before my period which is also a new thing the last 5/6 cycles. Sorry don’t know if this is helpful or not, just my experience really!

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. I just need to wait for my next period and see what it's like . X

@Maz85aw I have been getting really short periods recently too and wondered what it was all about because they always used to be 5 days. Wasn’t sure if it was due to stress or age related (I’m only 32 so it’s a bit hard to swallow thinking anything is age related!! But still) the first two days are really heavy as well and I am so so bloated the day before my period starts.
