HCG & LH after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage 9 days ago, just done another pregnancy test and there’s still a faint line, which I expected. I also done an ovulation test that’s positive. Is this normal? Am I ovulating already or is it picking up the HCG? Also, how long after a miscarriage will the test show negative usually? I just want to be pregnant again so bad, I hope I ovulate soon😔🤞🏼

Yes, the lh strip is picking up the hcg. You won't ovulate with hcg in your system. Once the hcg tests go negative, you can start testing with lh strips.

How long it takes depends on how high your levels were when you miscarried (so, how far along you were). It can take a couple of weeks. Should be clear within 3 weeks.

Hiya. I know this is a couple months off but I have just had a missed misscarrisge monday. I was 12 weeks but at the scan they believe the baby to have died at around 5 weeks. After the scan I passed the complete sac amongst heavy bleeding and clots. It was strange to see the entire sac.

Anyone I am feeling the same as you were. Desperate to be pregnant again. How long did your hcg levels take to drop.

My ovulation strips have detected pregnaxy thats how I found it. I had heard of it so ised one before I got a pregnancy test. It was posirivr followed by 4 positive tests and I had used them since too as reassurance all positive and still positive not but its detecting my pregnancy hcg hormones.

@miamiamia869 so sorry for your loss. I'm jumping on this post too as in the same situation. I had a MMC and had surgical management 4 weeks ago. I had a negative test last Wednesday, EWCM started the day after and I've had a positive ovulation test yesterday. I had a MMC a few years back too at about the same stage (10 weeks), and it took 6 weeks for my period to come back, so 4 weeks for ovulation feels about right🤞🏼
Hope your hgc levels have dropped. Sounds so weird to say, but it's the only time you actually hope to see a negative pregnancy test when you want to try again

Hiya. Yeah it feels wierd hoping to see a negative. My hcg has dropped now. I'm still so confused with ovulation thought. I'm not sure if I have missed my peak. It seems all over the show atm up and down but still low. I do tend to peak and drop real quick though so very possible to have missed it as also had ewcm. I guess this cycle will just be a strange one regardless ... sorry for your losses x

Yeah mine was a little weird too, I usually get quite a few days of ewcm, but only had 2 this time I think. In my 2ww now, tried holding off testing but tested this morning way too early! I just can't help myself every time 🙈
We've always waited after previous miscarriages to try again, this is the first time we've tried on the first cycle x
