Hi all,
I had a miscarriage in July so not sure on my cycles yet but had my first period 22.08.23. I haven’t had a period yet and we’re nearly at the end of September. I haven’t tracked ovulation and have been having unprotected sex but testing negative with high sensitivity tests and (tmi) I’m getting lots of creamy discharge. I had the egg white discharge around a week ago but couldn’t have been ovulating could I as that was around CD28! Has this ever happened to anyone else? I’m worried the miscarriage has messed up my body, can you ovulate that late? Right now, I’m not even concerned about getting pregnant - I just want AF to come now so I know my body is ok.

Can anyone offer any support and help me relax a little please?

Hi, I am so sorry to hear about your MC 😥

The 1st time I mc'd I had a D&C, it was Nov and I don't think I got a 'proper' period back until Feb sometime.

2nd MC, I started miscarrying in August, with it 'completing' 1st week in Sept. had a period the end of October and conceived DS in Nov, he was born the following July 😃

It can take a couple of cycles for your body and hormones to regulate after a mc. So, it's entirely possible you ovulated late in this cycle especially if you had ewcm.

if you ovulated about a week ago, your period should arrive in about another week (obviously depending on your luteal phase length, I'm assuming standard 14 days).

So sorry to hear about your miscarriages! I assumed because I had a period my cycles would just be normal now but maybe not. Congratulations on your little one! x
