When did I ovulate?

Trying to work out if I’m out for this month 🙈 EWCM Monday-Friday last week, had all dried up by Saturday. Had a dip in BBT on Thursday and then a rise today. Missed the weekend as was at a wedding! We DTD Sunday-Tuesday. Do we think I ovulated Friday? We were exhausted by Wednesday and assumed I was ovulating then so didn’t the rest of the week 😫 have we missed our chance? It’s so confusing as I always thought you had EWCM then ovulated on second day of that not 5 days after it begins 🙈

The only way I’ve been able to accurately detect my ovulation is when getting EWCM to test twice daily to find my peak, alongside testing my BBT for the rise after ovulation. Fingers crossed your still in with a chance :)

I just never seem to get on with ovulation tests! Tried them for 6 months and never got a positive one despite having regular cycles. I didn’t even get a dark line! I think my pee is too diluted 🙈

I couldn't keep doing ovulation tests anymore as all this TTC business was getting on me and our relationship. I stopped and started listening to my body, I realised I got wet and aroused around my ovulation so I started using that as an indication. And it worked.

I was exactly the same as you until I tested at 12 and 7pm then I managed to find my peak, mine are different every month too so last month it was CD16 and this month CD14 so I’m glad I test. Also I do like a cheeky bottle of wine every now and again and that bumps my temp up and it used to trigger the ovulation spike through BBT testing. I use Premom app and buy the Premom tests so you can take a picture and it will give you a reading of high, low or peak too.

TTC is just one big mind game isn’t it!

I think if this cycle doesn’t work I’ll get some of the clear blue ovulation ones and hopefully they work! I’ll definitely try testing mid day and evening thank you! Fingera crossed anyway 🤞
