Positive then negative tests?!

Hi All,

Some advice please as I'm very confused.

Just started trying for baby 2 this month. Our last baby took us one try & so we wasn't shocked that the day before yesterday, at 10DPO I got 2 BFP's. However, yesterday I then got 3 BFN's. Im due on Wednesday.

I guess I know it could possibly be a chemical, but wondered if anyone had any similar stories that turned out positive? I'm planning to test again tomorrow or Wednesday. It's just so weird that I got two such obvious positives to not even a faint line on the others taken yesterday. Both were taken as per instructions

It’s possible it could be a chemical, are the tests all from the same pack or different packs?
Could you try get a digital early detection test?

also wanted to ask- what time of the day are you testing? Are they all with fmu?

Hey :)

2 different packs but same tests. The two positives were about 2pm and 10pm. The next mornings one and those thereafter were negative!

I'm going to grab some better ones today I think

I’m not great with those tests and prefer digital or ones that make a cross. Try with a different brand today and see how you get on.

With my first pregnancy I found fmu gave me
the darkest tests but with my second I found that if I tested later in the day it would be darker- the mornings were faint, almost as if the lines weren’t there.

Interesting. Funny how they're all so different.

Hiya, I had this this month too! But a period and now every test is stark negative..... so bizarre!!!!!! And so incredibly frustrating! I hope that you continue to test and get a BFP! Sending hugs x
