Let’s talk about early signs and symptoms.

I have a few that tick the box
1- on off cramping for 2-3 days but stopped now. I never get cramps with AF.
2- tender boobs. This is also on off but my nipples have been super itchy.
3- constipation. I never have this.
4- increased need to pee.

what symptoms are you having/ have had?
I think I’m 8dpo. I stupidly tested and it was neg but I’m also still very hopeful. I just have a really good feeling.

I hope this is your month and you are pregnant but if if your pregnant enough to be having symptoms then your pregnant enough to have a positive test.

Are you sure the test was negative?

I am 5 weeks pregnant and my first symptom was a missed period.

@hotcandle I’m 100% obsessed with symptom spotting we’ve been trying for a year and just not felt like this before. the cramps threw me as I never get them. I did 2 tests. The first response was definitely negative. I’m going to wait to test again. My periods are super irregular so I’ve only got my ovulation date to go by.

I think @hotcandle was a bit rude! But perhaps tone was lost.

It is very normal to have symptoms before a missed period. Not everyone is the same.

I absolutely did not intend to be rude @TTCnewbies! Just sharing my experience of symptoms and also checking whether the pregnancy test was definitely negative and didn't have a smidge of a faint line.

Tone lost for sure :) I know how emotive TTCing is and I would never want to upset anyone.

I did get a different sensation in my
boobs as a first symptom. But the main one was a missed period tbh! My other real symptoms didn’t kick in until 6 weeks.

No worries at all! I did think I'd missed the tone.

I did test super early. (8dpo) But these 2 tests I believe I see a shadow of a line. That came up within the time frame.

or I’m going insane. First response was neg. But am testing again with FMU tomorrow.

I have anxiety and testing just helps me know where I’m at. I know I should wait. But I really can’t do it.

@JP23 I’m the same DPO as you! How are you getting on? Have you tested again today?

I got a BFN this morning but need to remember I still have plenty of time as AF isn’t till Saturday! I can’t help but symptom spot and feel different this month!

Yea your still too early so don’t count yourself out just yet! Some people haven’t had their BFP till a day after their AF is due. I’m a liar if I say I’m not going to test because like you said it helps.

ive decided I’m going to test in an evening now instead of morning, I got my positive at 5pm in May so instead of ruining my day the moment I open my eyes I’m going to enjoy my day and test later :)

I didn't get my BFP until the day my period was due and even then it was very faint. I tested at 13dpo and it was completely clear so you're definitely not out yet.

@hotcandle thankyou for that! It’s so hard not to feel down seeing that BFN, even knowing you still have time for it to change. Keeping my fingers tightly crossed this is my month after all the heartache this year 🤞🏼

@Longtobe2023 im going to test again tomorrow because I’m obsessed. I’ve convinced myself I’m pregnant. Losing it I am.

@JP23 i also convinced myself too! I’m 11DPO and just had another BFN! My AF will be here Saturday so will wait and see lol keep me posted how your getting on ✨
