Hi, I'm a little confused to what's going on with my body.
I'm currently on Cd 36. I track my af on an app and was expecting af last weekend. I did get some symptoms like lower back ache but it didn't come.
Throughout this week i have had some period like symptoms like lower back ache and stomach cramps but nothing painful.
Last night when i wiped i started spotting lighting so put a pantyliner on for bed but that was clean this morning then only had a little bit of spotting when i wiped this morning also, nothing after that.

I’m in a similar situation, the latest I could have ovulated & gotten pregnant is 08-09 (pm) I’ve had headaches, moodiness (not uncommon lol) but also have had lower back cramps which I only get when I’m pregnant & had brown discharge for 2 days on 18-09.

I’ve been testing everyday since 18-09 with cheapies & the occasional FRER & all bfn 😢.

I feel like I am pregnant but with the lack of bfp, my history of ectopic pregnancies is worrying me 🙈

We are TTC no. 2 so very much hope this has a happy ending for us.

What about you @Bluemermaid32 ? Are you TTC?

Either way it’s so stressful isn’t it 🙈😣

Woke up this morning and af has come full force. I am relieved about because we are not ttc right now. It's just strange how late i was especially compared to last month.

Sorry for the late reply, I must have missed this notification.

So my friend suggested I get some opk strips to see if I ovulate this month & I did, pretty much snack bang 14 days after the weird brown discharge.

Tomorrow is approx. 14 days since ovulation so I am expecting af anytime from now - I actually had cramps at the top of my legs (which I don’t normally get) but I defo think that’s a sign of it coming 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

I haven’t let DH near me much this month as I wanted to be sure we didn’t conceive accidentally so I am hoping for a proper bleed in the next couple of days & then bring on baby no. 2!!

I have no idea what was going on early to mid September if I’m honest, I would have put money on it I was pregnant but I’ve been testing periodically & all bfn & I had all the signs of a no ovulation (I’ve been tracking bbt & cm too) so either it failed to progress & was re absorbed (which would explain the faint positive I got on an out of date frer) or it was pseudo symptoms 🙈😹.

I did go to the doctors & got a referral at the beginning of October for a scan which showed some “normal” cysts so maybe they were the cause of the back cramps & burning sensation I had mid Sept.

How are you getting on?

@Skizii how very strange!! Sometimes I guess you just have random cycles - mine was 33 days last month which was so bizarre. Hoping for a normal cycle this month and like you, I’m also doing test strips 😊 ovulation is due tomorrow on Flo but with last months crazy cycle, it’s hard to know for certain! I’m struggling to understand the strip tests 100% as it isn’t as black and white so will likely go back to digitals next month. Wishing you all the best xx

Do you use the Premom app (free version) @Yolo23 ? It’s good because you take a photo of the strip & it reads the level for you, then it tells you when your peak was.

Just make sure you take the photo after waiting the same amount of time for each strip (like exactly after 5 minutes) because it can read the level differently depending on how much it has evaporated.

Do you track cm too? I normally know ovulation is coming because I become very aware of cm (sorry if tmi).

I also track bbt but with a toddler who is yet to sleep through the night (so I don’t ever have an uninterrupted nights sleep 🙈🥴😴) I take this with a pinch of salt!

If in doubt, just dtd every other night (minimum) just to be on the safe side 😉😂

@Skizii i don’t use premom no - can you use it with any test strip!? I’ll take a look 😊 thank you.

I have an idea with CM although my digital tests always seemed to show positive ovulation after my CM went through the motions so I never found it too reliable! I’d have EWCM and ovulation would occur sometimes days later. I guess everyone is different. We need to get into the zone of DTD every other night to be honest - it’s just so draining sometimes isn’t it 😂😂 I can’t imagine how you’re feeling with a toddler too haha. Time just seems to pass us by quite quickly in a given day! Xx

Yes cm is confusing at the best of times tbf. I suppose it can’t hurt dtd every night in the fertile window can it!
