Negative opk strips

Hi im in my second month of trying .

Am using preseed and opk strips however according to my flo app I should be ovulation today and my test trip is negative..im worried I'm not ovulatioing im 37 so my age is against me I no that.
Just wandered if anyone else's strips wernt positive but managed to conceive.
I remember doing one in June which was a strong positive so think I ovulate that month..worried its not going to work for us

Flo said I would ovulate yesterday but the premom app says today it all depends on your cycle I'm new to tracking and I've been testing 2-3 times a day to try and find my peak and I've found 2nd urine is best and 10hours apart I have a 28day cycle and it's cd15 only just getting high opks still trying to find my ovulation day keep testing from day after period until next to find your peak

Flo only uses the middle date of your cycle length, my dats on it are between 3 and 7 days out as I ovulate later.
Ovulating on the mid day of your cycle is actually not that common. Keep testing and see how you get on x

Going into cycle 3 ttc.. had a bit of a line yesturday but thwn stark white again today does anyone's go up and down I thought they were sposed to gradually get darker as the days go on

Hi OP, I use opks and find they can get fainter and darker in the lead up to getting a positive, depending on time of day and concentration of urine.
How long is your cycle? Did you manage to catch a positive in your last cycle and how many days did you test for? I use Flo app and it took a good few months for it to realise I ovulate late in my cycle even when I always updated it to say when i had negative/positive OPKs. I still don't find it that accurate and I'm on my 9th cycle using it because my ovulation varies between CD 19-22. It's not really much use just relying on an app unless you have a textbook cycle.
If you aren't sure at all when you generally ovulate, you should try using opks from around day 10 and continue daily until you get a positive.
I also log my opks on the premom app which keeps the photos and analyses the darkness of the line, you could try that if you haven't already.

Thankyou my cycles vary between 26-29 days every month...on 3rd month of trying and last month did every other day and then every when my strips got abit darker ...

Still didn't get pregnant lol...think maybe I'll do every other day anyway regardless of strips then I've covered all bases lol
