So we have been trying for a baby for 2 years. My partner has just been told he has a low sperm count of 11.7million and morphology of 3-4%. We have contacted the IVF clinic and start our treatment soon. Please can I have some success stories as we're feeling so deflated right now! 🙏🏼

We were trying two years as well. Husband had similar results low count, low mobility and even lower morphology. I personally found this lowered my expectations and lessoned the tww cycle of hope and disappointment. The fact we were on waiting list kept the hope.
When we met with Consultant he said it was not physically impossible for us to conceive naturally, but highly highly unlikely. The consultant advised against traditional IVF and instead recommended ICSI.
We had more waiting and two months before we got to the top of the list to start treatment - we found out we were pregnant!!! Naturally or rather miraculously
When people used to say to me ‘It will happen when it’s not expected’, or ‘ If you stop thinking about it then it will happen’ or when they would share anecdotal stories about couples getting pregnant when they had given up or were waiting for IVF - I was slightly irritated tbh🙈
but I am actually part of that cliche.
I know it’s hard to hold onto hope
I know lots of people who has had children via IVF ( two couples on their first try) but I know prior to pregnancy that didn’t reassure me.
I was worried I would not be as lucky
sometimes I allowed myself to be pessimistic as I didn’t want to get excited

sorry it’s such a hard journey
you are not alone
