False positive??

I have the copper coil.. however a few months ago I noticed I could only feel one string suddenly and went to the doctor thinking it might have moved out of place. They examined me briefly and said as long as one string is visible it's all fine. I've been worried since though. Now my period is 8 days late and I'm usually regular. I'm very tired and have painful boobs. I've done a bunch of tests and all were negative including this morning with fmu, but just did this one and the line came up straight away. But I'm thinking it may be a false positive because of that streakyness to the side of it? I've ordered some FRERs to come tomorrow but just wanted opinions on this as I'm freaking out a bit. I would love another child one day but now would not be an ideal time!

That does look positive. It's a bit odd that all the others were BFNs though.

That’s very faint for 8 days late unless you ovulate really late in your cycle.

That looks positive to me, the line is pink. I think the streaky bit it just wet dye.
I would be speaking to a Dr about that result if you've got a coil in place (or possibly the wrong place) as there could be risks if you are pregnant.

That does look like a positive result. Take another one tomorrow and if that looks positive too, tell your gp you've had a positive test and have the coil in and demand blood draws 48 hours apart.

You're at a higher risk of ectopic as you have a coil in, and that is a fairly faint result for 8 days late.

Don't let them fob you off, demand the blood draws and if hcg isn’t doubling properly, demand a scan as soon as it would be possible to see something.

Update- done a bunch more tests including first response, all negative. Still no period. So not really sure what's going on 🫤

Hiya , does this look like an Evap line more than a positive ? Due period today usually have spotting before hand but nothing . Checked a couple of mins after test and looked blank then looked 10 mins later . It’s a blue colour line
