Ovulation after chemical pregnancy

Sadly I suffered a chemical pregnancy last week and the bleeding has just stopped. From experience does anyone know how long it takes to ovulate again? Did anyone fall pregnant 2 weeks later? Or do I need to wait for another period?

@L2323 morning - sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I'm in exactly the same situation and just finished bleeding two days ago. I had presumed that ovulation would come at my usual sort of post-period time (probably in about a week) but am doing opks to try and keep an eye on it and will follow here to see if anyone else has additional wisdom! My doctor said fine to try asap.... good luck to you 🤞🏻💕

So sorry you've been through it too, it's a horrible thing to happen. I was hoping the same, I will need to get some OPKs again. Good luck too!

Yeah it's a bit rubbish isn't it. Unfortunately I had a MMC earlier in the year and my due date for that is the end of next month so I was really hoping for this as a nice distraction and something new to look forward to! On the plus side, I'm glad it ended so early if it wasn't viable.. but it's still rubbish. Had you been trying long? Was this your first? Xx

Aw no that's awful 😞 I already have a 5 year old and this was the first time we had tried for a 2nd baby, I'm trying to be positive that I can obviously still get pregnant at 37years old but its still a hard thing to deal with. What about you? Is this your first?

So sorry to hear of your losses. I suffered a CP last month and have ovulated 3 days early to my surprise this month (CD13). Good luck all 🤞🏼

Thanks @J3llycat ! Good to hear (and sorry for your cp last month)

@L2323 I have a 2 1/2 year old DS. So also trying for no.2. I'm also 37! And yes, focusing on positives that we've conceived twice, and trying not to worry about 2 losses... just started high dose COQ10 in case eggs need a little boost!!

Yes totally possible, apparently you’re slightly more fertile after a miscarriage. I conceived my current pregnancy after a chemical and had two miscarriages back to back before that. It can take 6 months to conceive at our age so try not to stress and get tests done if will give you peace of mind or if you e not conceived after 6 months. Good luck

I ovulated at CD15 after my chemical, although I was 5 weeks and 3 days so not sure if that’s still deemed a chemical or not.
