Dis that is so gd!!!

Kays that old lady was prob just bitter, and they always think they know best!!!

NJ Hope cleaning for the party goes well, i dont really like cleaning myself but hate mess... get paranoid about it! another side of my madness!

So we're creeping up to our thread limit....another title? how about ...urm.... actually ive not got a clue... x

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 08:23

Oh HUGE CONGRATULATIONS dis!!!! How very exciting

kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 08:23

Morning all,

Thanks for saying that the old lady was mad and not me.

I have had a hell of a night. Ds woke up at half 11 as we were going to bed. So we made him a bottle and he drank nearly all of it. So we thought he would then sleep all night but NOOOOO, he woke up at half 3 so we made him a little bottle which he drank all of too. He finally went back to sleep at about half 4. He has just woken up now.

I am so tired. But ds is full of energy!

Got the Vicar coming round this morning to talk about the christening.

Hope everyone is ok. XX

largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 08:24

Kay did AF arrive?

kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 08:27

Yes on Sunday.
But as dh says it means more GOF's!!!

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 08:34

Disenchanted that is fantastic, I am sooooo chuffed for you Don't worry about the line not getting darker, contrary to popular belief, the line doesn't always darker the next day, not because the HCG isn't forming but because different tests (even from the same multipack) will detect HCG at different levels.

LG&T PIL's???? to stay, as in, at your house?????? Poor you!! (Am only kidding, hope you had a nice time, poor B, teething is a killer....) Congrats on your notorious fame

I don't mind cleaning, it is the tidying that annoys me. I don't mind tidying toys (the ones that are meant to be down here), but things like DH will come in take his boots off and leave them under the dining room chair, why????? We have a place to keep the shoes in the hall. DS1 will come and leave all his papers/books/games/shite everywhere, stuff that is meant to be in his room, not all over my house! Or someone will put a glass on the fireplace out of reach of DS2, and it just get's left. I don't mind polishing/hoovering/dusting etc. but if they'd put their bloody stuff away after themselves, my job would be a whole lot easier! Ahem, got a bit carried away there didn't I?!!

Arghhhhhhhhhhhh, the fence just blew over........

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 08:48

I hate tidying as ds or dh comes along and makes a mess practically as soon as I have finished.

Its nice and sunny here.

calsworld · 12/03/2008 08:51

Ooohhh NJ - everything OK - hasn't taken off I trust?

Dis - I'm convinced you are even if you aren't!

Kay - DH says my not getting a BFP is just an excuse for more GOF's too. Grrr to grumpy old ladies - none of her blimin' business!

And what is about LO's last night - think our two must have been on some baby chat board - DS woke at midnight after milk, so he had 6 oz's and snuggled in bed with us, then he woke again at about 2.30 after more milk - so he had another 6 oz's which he drank all of!!

Unsurprisingly he had a very full, very wet nappy this morning!

I think I may have messed my dates up and that I'm not as overdue as I think I am...by a whole day! . DH keeps asking me to double check and if I'm sure..

CD1 was Feb 2nd which makes me CD40 today, which means I'm only 12 days overdue .

So, we've pretended that if CD1 had happened on day 29 as it should have done, then I would now be at prime GOF time...at least, that's our calculations. Not that we need excuses for doinking of course but it keeps me focussed!

calsworld · 12/03/2008 08:53

OOh, LG&T, how rude of me! Congrats in your time of fame...I feel priveleged!!

Think I went through two sets through pre-labour and labour for DS and DH was stocked up just in case!

calsworld · 12/03/2008 08:54

Dis - I mean I'm convinced you are pregnant even if you are not convinced - not even if you're not pregnant.....

Oh shutup Cal

kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 08:57

LOL, I just asked ds if he has been conspiring with baby Cal and he said "Yeah"

I hope he doesn't do it tonight as I am at work all day tomorrow.

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 09:07

Not sure how it has happened, but the top of the fence is still attached to the fence post, the bottom has blown out, and cracked nearly all along the fence panel, don't think it will last much longer like that. It is blowing an absolute gale out there, raining/hailing/sleeting on and off, and generally really dark and miserable out there, quite chilly as well.

Cal, you are so pregnant, the HPT's just don't want to play ball yet, if you don't normally just skip periods then there is no other explanation!

Right I am off to read LG&T's tip, and find the Nov' 06 post natel group, must admit, I had kind of forgotten about it since this one started

OP posts:
calsworld · 12/03/2008 09:16

Kay - me too, tomorrow will be my first day back in the office for four weeks!

Have to say, I'm dreading it. Everyone will be asking why I've been off and there's going to be a queue of people at my desk needing stuff done...

calsworld · 12/03/2008 09:20

Blimey - its just taken ages to post that - is it me or is this thread bursting....how long does it have to be to justify a new one?

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 09:25

Well it get's locked at 1005(?) posts, but if you are on dial up, or a slower broadband it will take ages to load anything as big as that.

Ooooh got a question I forgot to ask yesterday, I actually had packs of folic acid left, not one as I thought, but I want to take this pregnacare stuff, can I take the folic acid and pregnacare at the same time? Can you OD on folic acid? Since this is a month of trying, and we won't be trying next cycle, should I just save the folic until next month, then go back to pregnacare when we are trying?

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 09:25

Tut, 2 packs of folic left....

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 09:29

I cant believe how quickly it fills up.

Only about 10 days till OV, lol

calsworld · 12/03/2008 09:29

I'd do the latter, pregnacare this month, folic acid the month after, then back to pregnacare again.

TBH when I talked about being pregnant with the doc he asked if I was taking folic acid and I said yes, that I was taking a pregnancy multivit with folic acid in and he said the vits weren't that important coz LO would just take from me anyway.

What about me!! What about a healthy mum! Surely that's important too!

I think he was just trying to save me money...but thought I'd mention it. You could even try taking them on alternate days so you always have enough folic acid and maintain reasonable stocks of key vits and minerals??

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 09:37

Bloody hell Cal, I can barely remember to take it every day, would never remember what I'd taken on what day if I did that!!! LOL

Shall we do a new thread then? Title suggestions please

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 12/03/2008 09:38

Nat has fallen of the waiting wagon.

^^call it that!!

calsworld · 12/03/2008 09:41

"The wheels on the Wagon have fallen off..."

Nat, I don't believe that for a blimin' minute - you are soooo organised!

calsworld · 12/03/2008 09:43

Oh great...now set this to the tune of "the wheels on the bus.."

The wheels on the wagon have fallen off,
Fallen off,
Fallen off,
The wheels on the wagon have fallen off,
We'll all be pregnant soon!

NatalieJane · 12/03/2008 09:45

Organised pah, I used to be before DS2 came along, now things get doen if and when, and sometimes don't get done at all, am thinking a DC3 will send us into a whole world of things that don't get done at all!

PMSL at the song, do you think it will fit in a thread title?

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 12/03/2008 09:45

Never mind Kay, next month we can be together

Cal that is some cycle, mine are normally about 42\3 days.

Nat hope the fence is ok my lovely.

Right how about

'Eggstra special treats for Easter'

'How many eggs till we get one that hatches'

Disenchanted · 12/03/2008 09:45

Hiya,

thanks girls, you are all so nice, wish I would have come to this thread earlier!

The logical part of my brain thinks ...

+OPK, Bd'd at right time,
Pink blood at 8DPO, implantation,
Feeling nauseus for 3 days now
Slight line in HPT

but then a big strong voice says,

Dont think you are! Dont, not until a B fp! On staurday or soemthing.
