How typical, he has just woken up as I have put him in his cot. I'll just give him his bottle I made him earlier.

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 19:40

Kay you sound a bit down are you ok?

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 19:43

Just bored. Cant find anything on tv, got loads of dvds and I cant pick one.
Im tired too.

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 19:47

Have a long hot soak then get your duvet on the sofa and watch a chick flick... Or have an early night.

Speeking of early night i must dash now, hope your feeling better Kay and will speak to you tomorrow.

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 19:49

It was episode 4, which I think used to be the first film until they made the new ones. Not finished it yet as picked tigger up from nursery early and had some lovely play time with him instead.

Just about to cook tea and watch the second half.

Can't think about any more testing I'm just waiting for AF to visit.

NJ - what is wrong with DS2's eyes - what are they being checked for? What have you decided to go for for DS1's birthday? Well done for 'upping the pace' with the pregnacare! I keep forgetting to take mine which is really naughty I know.

Kay - hope LO settled down quickly for you and that you are now securely snuggled with duvet and film! If you're still struggling with the computer I can try to help? I have DH here who is a pooter whizz.

LL - hope you've had a nice day - you've been agony aunt here today! Nice job - hope you're enjoying your wine, real or virtual!

calsworld · 10/03/2008 20:46

BMLB, good news about your nan, hope she's still recovering well. Well done for speaking out to your boss too - takes guts!

GJ - jealous of pub quiz win...I'm just a spoilt brat who refuses to play these days as am fed up of being so crap that I can't even win a booby prize....

Moosma - you sound far too clued up on pooters - what job do you do?

Disenchanted - good luck with the testing!

Phew...is that everyone? If I've missed anyone its certainly not intentional!!

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 20:55

Hi Cal, Ds did settle down again quickly. He is becoming very independent already. He has to give himself his bottle he wont take it anymore.

Dh is going to look at computer tomorrow, hopefully he can fix it.

I am under duvet but not watching a film, just couldn't decided. Also a programme I like is on.

So how are you?

Starshinetiger · 10/03/2008 21:24

Hello, anyone still about?
Kay, sorry you were having a bored afternoon, what did you find to watch? I've got some ironing to do and I need to be watching something on TV - also, DH broke the bed this morning and I'm waiting for him to text me and tell me if he fixed it, or if we're in the spare room tonight!

Disenchanted - looking forward to the board's first BFP.

BB - glad your nan is okay, hope you've been able to relax a bit this evening.
Ah well, had best get something productive done...

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 21:29

I am watching Air Crash Investigation. A bit morbid I know but no one dies in this episode.

Starshinetiger · 10/03/2008 21:32

Thanks Kay, unfortunately, our PC is in our spare room, not downstairs, so I can't be on Mumsnet and doing ironing at same time, so I'd best go on downstairs very shortly. Thanks for the tip, might investigate Air Crash Investigation.
Night all!

Cal, I used to be an IT bod, I left 2 years ago but I can still remember some of it when I have to! DH still is one so we have quite a computery house, but he also makes furniture so we have quite a furniturey house too

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 22:55

PMSL, just watched Road Wars. The police caught 2 teenagers shagging in a car at half 11 in the morning outside a school!!

Another BFN at 4 this morning. Just making sure I have been catching first wee of the day. I have no more tests left and I'm not going to buy any either. Not until AF puts in an appearance and I'm late on the next one.

Oooh, computers and furniture, you must have a super duper hi-tech well furnished home! How lovely! DH is computery, very much into sound and vision too, and his dad is a builder so he's got lots of useful DIY skills. Very useful!

Oh, and nearly forgot, if any of you are going to buy from these websites:

www.buy-clearblue.co.uk, www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk or www.valuemed.co.uk

then insert value5% into the coupon code. This is the code they sent me for all friends in my TTC group to use so go for it. They delivered my tests next day and I didn't order until about 2.30pm on a Friday!

This coupon is valid for the next five months.

calsworld · 11/03/2008 07:41

No its not, its valid for the next three months.

kayzisbroody · 11/03/2008 07:50

Morning Cal, Sorry about another bfn.

I'd have a very computery home if I'd let dh, he loves all sorts of gadgets. Saying that I would like lights the turn on and off when you clap.

Teuch · 11/03/2008 08:06

Kay...I used to think that would be good too, but with a toddler (who gets regular rounds of applause ) it would be impractical, if amusing!!

Doesn't everyone do lots of 'applause'?!

kayzisbroody · 11/03/2008 08:19

Yeah, I do applause ds when he does something good or funny.
Also when I watch football it wouldnt be good.

calsworld · 11/03/2008 08:20

When my friend and her DS, 15 months same as mine DS were round, they were playing with our mobile phones. We were laughing coz they were pointing them at the tele like remotes, however she said that she has a remote control for her light in the bedroom so her DS also points remote controls and mobiles at lights!

We do lots of applause here...

We also do an awful lot of 'Miss Polly had a Dolly'...nursery has taught DS all the actions, which is very very cute, and he is addicted to listening to anyone he can find singing it to him...just gets a little wearing!

I must see if I can catch it on video to embarass him when he's older!

kayzisbroody · 11/03/2008 08:25

A remote for the light???
YAY, I must investigate that. Means I dont have to get out of bed.

Teuch · 11/03/2008 08:28

DH's aunt has a remote which operates her lights from outdoors, so she doesn't have to switch them off until she is at her front gate, but can switch all her lamps on in different rroms before she goes into the house! She's a pensioner who lives alone in a place with no streetlights...genius!!

kayzisbroody · 11/03/2008 08:33

That sounds like a great idea, dh wants everything to work through a remote the heating, the lights, tv, hi-fi and anything else he can think of.

Teuch · 11/03/2008 08:58

Cycle-spotting...

No +ve OPK yet this month. Had faint +ve on CD13 last time round, with dark +ve by late evening but not a jot yet . Bit crampy though...

Aaaaarrrrrgggghhhhh!! On the very brink of the 2ww

Can't bear it, really can't!

MoosMa · 11/03/2008 09:07

Cal, my DH is very into sound and vision too, that's what his furniture is for!
