Kay, bring the chocolate and wine juice please

It is all very clever now BB. I bet if your Nan had been told 40 years ago that one day she'd have an operation that involved lasers rather than cuts, she'd have laughed at you!

I think I am going to risk the negative and go for another one. Making sure DS1 is happy on his birthday is worth more than a mark on a file on eBay!

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 14:18

Yeah here have some chocolate and wine juice.

I have no idea what we're getting ds. Probably just some toys and clothes.

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 14:22

Actually just a thought, if the wagon and sundeck is fictational, then so is wine..... give me a pint glass of Gallo White Grenache please

I have retracted the offer, feel very bad now I hate mucking people about, but to be fair, eBay shoul dhave warned me that the listing wasn't going to just end this morning. If it had have done, I'd never have put the offer in so low in the first place...! Grrrrrrrrrrrr Pass the bottle please.....

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 14:24

LOL fictational wine means fictational hangovers.

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 14:28

Oooooo no, don't want a hangover, fictational or not!

I do really like my size 10 stretch mark free, perky norked, fictational body y'know...

Could get used to the dream land of the TTC wagon y'know....

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 14:29

I has finely stopped raining here in Pickering. At last.

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 14:35

It has stopped raining here, for now, but the sky is really grey.

Dreams are better....

Natalie I am confused, have you put in a bid or is it a second chance offer? If you have put in a bid then of course he has every right to give you negative feedback

calsworld · 10/03/2008 14:43

Afternoon all - Monday's are always sooo busy!

Had a lovely weekend, a friend we haven't seen for months came over on Saturday and she cooked dinner for us! Best kind of guest! Actually, I did starters and mains but they were v v easy. Then on Sunday, another friend we haven't seen for ages with a DS same age as mine came over and we had a lovely catch up with coffee and I even baked (ok, so it was a packet mix) a chocolate cake. YUM!

Monday morning and DH is not well - a touch of man flu accompanied by a dodgy tummy.

I took DS into nursery and then came home and went back to bed - we both slept from about 9.45 till 12.45!! I had a feeling I might have overdone it at the weekend - I did a lot of tidying on Saturday as house had descended into some sort of teenager / student flat type squalor.

DH is up now and about to force me to watch Star Wars for the first time.

Its starting...and I'm going to be tested....aaarrrrggghhhh.

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 14:45

Not a bid or a second chance offer, a best offer, as far as I can see, there is no option for him to leave any feedback. There's been no transaction, he hadn't accepted the offer, I have just retracted it.

Just feel bad for mucking him about, but as I said, I need to make sure I have DS1's main pressie here for Sunday, and since I had asked for a reply to the offer ASAP and hadn't heard anything, I didn't really have much choice.

LOL Cal, sounds like a lovely weekend Good luck with the Star Wars, and test results.... for both the SW tests and the HPT that you are going to do before you come back on here!!!!

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 14:54

and as for weather i hate rain!!! x

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/03/2008 16:33

Well thats good news about your boss, mind you is he likely to admit it if that was the plan

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 16:35

Kay as you are staying in Wembley, you are not right in the center but if you jump on the tube (bakerloo line) it will take you to Picadilly Circus. Change tubes and get on the Piccadilly line for two stops and you are at covent garden. Loads of lovely wine bars and restaurants there.

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 16:37

Thanks LL, I love Covent Garden so we'll definitely be going there.

Anyone here a computer expert?

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 16:38

not expert but I do know a bit. why

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 16:45

We have a wireless router that the computer is plugged into and the internet wont work. It works on the laptop but not the computer and its driving me mad!!

Dh is at work so I cant get him to fix it.

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 16:51

It could be the IP address is incorrect on the computer. To check this you click on the symbal at the bottom of your tool bar that shows two little computer screens, then go to properties and check the ip address is the same as it is on the laptop.

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 16:53

Thats gone. Everything except msn and the volume control has gone from the tool bar.

MoosMa · 10/03/2008 16:55

Check the Gateway there too, that's the address of the router so it must be right on the laptop already, make sure it's the same on the PC. The IP addresses mustn't be the same, that would cause a conflict.

MoosMa · 10/03/2008 16:55

Right click on My Network Connections on the desktop and click Properties, it should bring up a list of your network connections.
