I've not fallen off, just sort of hanging out the window.... Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Right off to find a bouncy castle, might need some 2nd opinions, watch out for links coming your way!!

Sounds like a nice weekend Playing. Why can't it be April???

Teuch · 10/03/2008 09:47

morning all!

Nat...hurrah!! (lemmings, I tell ya )

Playing - sounds like a lovely weekend

Kay - birthday trip sounds very lovely too.

I'm around CD13 today...things are hotting up!! Would help if I wasn't so grumpy with DH though...that is not conducive to seduction...

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/03/2008 09:48

I agree Kay. Bring on April, then May, June, July, August then SEPTEMBER!!!

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 09:50

Yeah once I've been away it'll be near the end of April so wont be too long for you to wait.

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 10:11

Morning ladies i have had a nighmare weekend. Fell over friday so been in agony all weekend. Did GOF on Friday but not since as dp went away saturday and dd was up most of the the evening last night with her teeth and so I slept in her room with her no gof last night. I am on CD14 and Dp is back tonight at 8 (he was ment to be away all night but has cancelled it) and he is not going to know what hit him. Still, hope it isn't to late.

Why do all the best laid plans go to pot...

Kay sounds wicked about your stay, I work in London (well the office is in london but i mostly work from home in Kent) so if you need any idears (not that i expect you to come out of your room . Just let me know.

NJ glad you had a nice break, at you smoking and at you falling off the waggon.

Teuch · 10/03/2008 10:18

Oh LL - any OV signs?

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 10:23

Did over the weekend but not today.

Teuch just the lady I need you to put your cap on again if have two questions for you...... (TMI alert)

  1. If I did OV on saturday then would our friday night doinking have covered it?

  2. if I OV'd yesturday would tonights doinking cover it?

Teuch · 10/03/2008 10:26

pmsl @ doinking!!

pre-OV doinking is all that matters!! But since we never know exactly when the actual OV occurs, keep going just in case

And remember...nothing is TMI!!

I expect to OV in next day or so...

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 10:26

Doinking?!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

LL, I haven't fallen off the wagon..... told you, I am just hanging out the window...... and if you believe that, you will believe anything.....!

Your OV will be covered by both DOINKINGS

Thank you ladies I feel a bit better about the weekend now...

Teuch we could be testing at around the same time.... And as for being grumpy with dh just close your eyes and imagine it is someone you have really really fancied for ages (for my that is Freddy L). That will be good in two ways:~
Firstly it is one in the eye for dh (who must of been really bad to have pissed you off).
Secondly your still on track for you BFP.

lardylumps · 10/03/2008 10:35

how many mistakes can I make in one post????

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 10:42

OK, 2nd opinions are needed please:

This one with a basketball hoop, good for DS1, the bouncy castle is for him, initially.

Or

This one, no basket ball hoop, but it is a foot wider, I know that doesn't sound a lot, but in a couple years there will be 3 kids on there, so an extra foot would be nice.

What do you reckon, because I can't decide.

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 10:49

Ooooo or This one???

OP posts:
kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 11:13

I like the last one myself!

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 11:22

I have put a very cheeky offer of £150 on the last one, it only has 6 minutes left....

He will probably refuse, but if you don't ask you don't get..... cross your fingers please......!

OP posts:
Diege · 10/03/2008 11:22

Morning! Just about made it into the office as the trains are a bit off what with winds Not had more than a few gusts here, but then I am a hardy Northerner (well, North Wales!)and no doubt you softy southerners are feeling it worse .
Glad everyone had good weekends (apart from LL!!, what a nightmare London trip sounds great Kay - lovely to have something like that to look forward to .
Nat, tut, tut, I'm not saying anything..but that's great news . Will be very exciting for the thread though...any symptoms yet??
Oh and on the bouncy castle front, I'd go for the one with the wide slide. I think things like hoops etc get forgotten in the excitment of all the bouncing, and slides keep them going forever! Having said that they could have some fun trying to get the ball through the hoop?
Well, I will find out this week if my theory about the early ovulation was right. That's assuming that you always have af 14 days after ovulation?? I thought that was a certainty, but have read some rather dismissive posting off other mumsnetters who say it's something of an urban myth!
Right, best go - colleagues are lurking!

NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 11:23

ooops 3 minutes even....! Argghhhhhhhhhhh, he isn't going to see it in time....

OP posts:
NatalieJane · 10/03/2008 11:26

No period does not always follow 14 days after OV, that is why you can swear blind about your dates, but they take no notice if the scan is different. I don't think midwives have ever caught on that some people do have longer, or shorter, between OV'ing and period.

OP posts:
Teuch · 10/03/2008 11:26

Deige, I think that 14 days is the average. I can't remember if you have tracked your cycle before but you would have picked up a longer or short Luteal Phase I think! It shouldn't vary by more than a day from what you have had in the past, I think...

kayzisbroody · 10/03/2008 11:27

Oh dear Nat.

I am trying to make a list of places we want to go. Also trying to find a nice but not expensive restaurant. All dh says is 'Gordon Ramsay at Claridges'

Teuch · 10/03/2008 11:34

Just to clarify!!!

You should have a constant LP, but that is not necessarily 14 days though this is the most common. Everyone's can be different, but yours should not vary by more than a day each month.

It is far more likely that the estimation of OV is out (as temping/scan are the only true way to confirm OV has occured).

Teuch · 10/03/2008 11:34

What's happening Nat??!!

Bloody hell, the listing has just started again, so the offer is still valid for another 47 odd hours, what if he doesn't get back to me till Wednesday, and then refuses (which he is likely to at such a low offer) I won't have time to get another castle sorted out for Sunday........... I only put the cheeky offer in at 7 minutes to go because I thought if he either didn't see it or refused it, I'd know in time to get another one sorted out, I didn't know the listing just renews itself, leaving the offer valid....

God I am waffling.....

Kay, I'd be making a list of new underwear and sex toys...... you have a hotel room to yourselves, and you're going to actually go out?!!!!
