Diege · 08/03/2008 17:12

Don't get excited, there's no link (thankfully)

kayzisbroody · 08/03/2008 19:52

Hello all,

Crufts was amazing. I cant wait to get a house so we can get a dog. We have yet to pick one yet but Im sure I can persuade dh to let me have a gorgeous little lap dog.

Still no real af, which is strange as its normally heavy for the first couple of days.

If no really heavy normal af I may do another test on Monday.

Hope you all have good weekends!

Diege · 08/03/2008 21:38

Hi kay! So were you actually at Crufts itself today?? I watched it on the TV; not too keen on those Australian cattle dogs - look like hyenas to me . My parents used to breed Pekinese, so brought up with at least 10 dogs at one time, but now find one cat enough work!
Fingers crossed on the af front .
Night all xxx

kayzisbroody · 09/03/2008 07:46

Morning all,

Yes Diege we were there. It was great fun and ds loved it. No I must say I don't like the Australian Cattle dogs. I'm definetly going next year.

Still not sure on the af front, there is only blood when I wipe(sorry TMI)

Hope you all have good Sundays, I agreed to work as my supervisor has no one to work today. But it means I get Tuesday or Wednesday off instead.

Diege · 09/03/2008 07:56

Morning Kay . Bad luck having to work, but it will be gone before you know it and you will have your day off to look forward to next week! Hopefully you will know where you are too with af by next week too. What's your gut feeling?
Well, dh is off out training for the London Marathon [shudder]and then he's taking dds to his mum's for lunch. I've got loads of stuff to do for work; since dropping to 4 days from full time my work load has actually increased and I often have to get things done (lectures written etc) on the Sunday. At least I get to work from home a day though, which I didn't get in my other job, and get to pick/drop dds off 2 days a week . And of course having to work means I don't have to endure the MIL .
Look out for the storms everyone, and keep safe!!!

kayzisbroody · 09/03/2008 08:02

Morning Diege
My gut feeling is that Im not pg. I surely should've had a BFP by now.

I'd love to do the London Marathon but I'm far too lazy. It would probably kill me.

Teuch · 09/03/2008 08:21

okay Kay - in RL I would probably be commiserating with you about AF but our job on here is different! We have to keep the dream going until we are sure either way...

So whilst I know that it is your first period off the pill (did you have a withdrawal bleed btw?) and your cycle is unlikely to be stable yet....

COuld it be implantation?!

kayzisbroody · 09/03/2008 08:36

Yeah I had a withdrawl bleed. I dont think its implantation.

I got pg straight away with ds and I just hoped I would again this time.

MoosMa · 09/03/2008 09:30

Morninng all,

Sorry you still don't have a definitive answer Kay, I guess now it's just a case of wait and see

Does anyone here live near the sea? On the radio this morning they warned everyone to stay away from coastal areas until wednesday because of possible storm surges

lardylumps · 09/03/2008 11:08

Morning all, sorry there is no BFP yet Kay but as long as no AF there is still hope.

CD13 today yippee. DP went away last night so need to make up for it when he gets home later.

I had a nasty fall on Friday and fell onto DD toys. My ribs are killing me on my right hand side I was in pain all day yesterday when ever I lifted something, put pressure on them or took a deep breath. Think I must have bruised them on the inside as no bruising on the outside.

Have really bad stomach cramps today, hope I haven?t eaten anything dodgy...

Teuch · 09/03/2008 11:26

near the sea??!! We are on an island whichis only 1 mile wide

Thankfully I think we will miss this particular storm [relief]

I have, however, just put out my washing and then down came a horrible hailstone shower

LL - not good falling about like that at our age!! I did it last week...stumbled and tried to right myself but ended up slamming down onto both knees! Ouch!

Hope it doesn't interfere with the necessary

Diege · 09/03/2008 11:39

Hello! LL, those cramps might be ovulation pains perhaps? (I sometimes get really bad period-type cramps when I'm ovulating). Take care with the sore ribs - you'll have to go on top !
Teuch, intrigued as to where you live - sounds very remote!
Right, time to get out of my PJs and get my hair washed - the neighbours have just waved to me as they've passed the window and probably think I'm living the life of Reilly with dh having taken dds to his mum's. Well, it's not too bad s'pose..

lardylumps · 09/03/2008 11:46

sore ribs will not hinder tonight, I just wont tell him, after all how will he know that it was a scream of pain.. he he he

I live about 20 miles from the coast so think i will be ok!!

MoosMa · 09/03/2008 12:13

I'm intrigued too, is it somewhere off the top of Scotland? [brr]

lardylumps · 09/03/2008 12:34

the isle of white may be???????

Teuch · 09/03/2008 12:39

west coast of Scotland - not that far north really, and we are (I think!) in the gulf stream so we get lovely summers but wet and windy winters!!

MoosMa · 09/03/2008 12:39

Can't be Scillies, they're in the SW which is where the storm will be...

lardylumps · 09/03/2008 13:11

Ah Teuch that sounds lovely.....

Diege · 09/03/2008 13:26

Oooh, must be Arran, or Islay perhaps?? [deige digs deep into the murky waters of school geography lessons..)Does indeed sound lovely .
Getting my work done slowly, though have the truly awful 'Vanity Lair' on in the background - how shallow are those people!! .
No wind here yet! Looking forward to it in a strange sort of way!

Teuch · 09/03/2008 14:01

smaller, Deige, smaller!

ACtually..if you do guess, perhaps don't post as I don't want people doing web searches to come upon my links as there are not that many people live here

And MN comes up in searches all the time...

calsworld · 09/03/2008 14:09

Hi all, just a quick pop on as have been busy tidying all weekend. Still need to clean but at least I can see the dust now!

Another BFN today..I've come to the conclusion that I'm not pregnant and think that I just have missed my period. All the things that I was citing as possible symptoms have gone away, boobs not sore anymore, no queasiness, no tiredness, nothing. Just kind of feel - blank? Is that a feeling?

Only problem I have now is knowing when is best to GOF! Hmm such a problem - will have to BD on very, very regular basis. DH won't know what's hit him!

I kind of feel relieved to have come to that conclusion too, felt in a bit of limbo. At least I can just look forward to getting into a normal cycle.

I feel loads better too, no D since Thursday night so feel much stronger for that. The doctor signed me off for two weeks but don't think I'll really be able to justify that - I'll have a couple of days at home to make sure I'm not about to go down with something else, then head back into the mayhem. It will mean much less opportunity to chat on here, but with the amount of posts I've been making, you'll probably all be relieved!!!

Hope you all have a v v lovely rest of weekend,

Cal, x

Diege · 09/03/2008 14:24

Teuch, I have an inkling but will keep my suspicians to myself
Cals - very odd that about your af, especially in light of all the symptoms. Will you keep testing on and off until af arrives (or not?). At least you are feeling better in yourself though . Think I would be tempted to take the full two weeks off work but then I am a bit of a skiver even at the best of times .
My time is running out before dh gets back (then we have to joy of Pizza Hut on a Sunday afternoon .
Speak later this evening!

kayzisbroody · 09/03/2008 14:29

Hello all,

Af is here and Im actually not all that bothered. I'd rather just know rather than live the next week in limbo. I have bought a large gooey chocolate torte! So I will enjoy that and then get my excerise stuff out tomorrow to burn it off.

So I think I am on CD1 so Im going to BD every other day from CD5.

Hope you are all ok.

calsworld · 09/03/2008 14:31

Diege, I don't know what to do really. I'm just going to wait till AF arrives I think. Perhaps if I haven't had one by time next one is due I'll do another test.

The one I used this morning is supposed to get a result from day of period and possibly before, I'm 10 days over, which is why I just don't think I can be, I'd have had a +ve by now.

Have to say the temptation is high - but I have already been off for three and if I do get pregnant this year, I want to have plenty of sick leave in hand.

Oooh Pizza hut! Boo busy Sunday afternoons!

kayzisbroody · 09/03/2008 14:34

Oh and Teuch I am so jealous!!

I'd love to live on a little island in Scotland. I'd love to live in Scotland fall stop.
