4 days late but negative hpt, could it be wrong?

I am not trying to conceive and have a mirena coil, so chances of pregnancy very slim. But I've had regular periods since having the coil for over a year, and I'm currently 4/5 days late and have very unusual exhaustion. I had a cheapie test in that is a year old that I took today and it is negative but I'm still paranoid. Reviews for the test say it isn't very sensitive and only 25 miu and false negatives likely, would this still be the case this late?

Well yeah it could be, we can't really answer if you're pregnant or not though. Can you get anywhere tonight to buy another test?

I did just come up with something we needed from the shops with that in mind, but my teen DC decided to come with me! I've ordered some from Amazon to come tomorrow. I swear I could feel mild period cramps the moment I clicked the order button, but I'll be glad to have some in for any future paranoid moments regardless.

Did you have sex a couple of weeks ago?!

Had sex on what would have been cycle day 12 then didn't for over a week because we were camping. I am extra paranoid because I had a coil years ago that fell out and I thought I felt it move recently, lots of contention type pains mid cycle. Definitely have mild cramps now though so I think AF will make an appearance by tomorrow. Going to have a bath and see if there brings it on, based on zero science whatsoever 😂.

Any sign of AF?

Thanks for asking, sorry I totally forgot to come back. Yes AF came 6 days late, very light after negative HPT. Then I am pretty sure I ovulated on time, so I think it is just that they are still getting lighter after having a Mirena over a year ago. Last time I got a Mirena they stopped right away, but I only just learnt it can take a year for them to stop.
