Hi

my husband got his sperm analysis results back yesterday! i've attached his results...

what does this mean? can this be improved? does it mean it's almost impossible... we got little to no help from our GP. Now at end.

Some of the results are only slightly lower? 😩😭

These results suggest motility and normal forms are on the low side but these results will fluctuate from month to month. My husband has had results similar and worse than this, and also results where normal forms have nudged over the 4% mark. We've conceived twice.

Diet can help improve sperm quality - fruits, vegetables, reducing processed foods, alcohol, caffeine, smoking. Also keeping testicles cool. It might be worth him getting an opinion from a urologist to check he doesn't have varicoceles (slightly enlarged veins in the testicles which increase the temperature and can damage quality) - but if he does this is treatable.

A fertility doctor told me that the most important item is normal forms which needs to be above 4% for natural conception.
