I have to track as we have to do home artificial insemination as my other half doesn't finish from sex, but if you have sex every other day throughout your cycle technically there's no need to track. If you're more comfortable not tracking then don't! Do what works for you ☺️ x

Now I know my cycle roughly, I think i'd find it impossible not to track a bit. but i don't use BBT or sticks. In theory you can only get pregnant those few days around ovulation so does make sense to focus on those days. But really don't worry after a couple of months, up to a year is common.

@Georg1994 first of all I’m so sorry to hear about your MMC ❤your situation sounds almost identical to mine! I got pregnant the second month of trying without tracking but it sadly ended in a MMC at 9 weeks in June.

We’ve been trying for the last two cycles using ovulation sticks and we find it to be too much pressure and I spend the full month stressing out over it. This cycle we’re going back to not tracking, I’ve even deleted Flo from my phone!

Also I'm the second month of trying here..its very stressful ..apparently it happens when you body is less stressed and yet its a stress to get pregnant lol...cant win lol

I did use to keep a track of my dates and we would try to have sex every other day if possible within a 7 day or so window where I may have been fertile. But I didnt do temperature or use OPKs or anything like that at all. It took us 4 months to conceive no.1 and 5 for number 2, we were in our twenties.

I kept track of when my cycle was in basic terms using an app, but apart from that we had sex every 2-3 days when not on period, sometimes more frequently if we wanted to, and fell pregnant on the second month. It can of course happen when you don't track anything and just have regular sex, it can just take time. Anywhere up to 12 months is considered normal.

Thank you everyone for your replies I know that I don't need to track and just find it very consuming and stressful thanks for all the advice, @Haylsttc I'm so sorry this happened to you too, i am glad to hear someone feels the same as me about tracking it's very stressful and I just want it to happen in a relaxed way as it did the first time, it might be good for us to keep in touch on this journey as it feels like I can't find anyone else on here who is the same 🤗 I hope this month is our time ✨

@Georg1994 yeah me too, the month we actually fell pregnant it was so relaxed!

I think having fell pregnant quickly the first time it makes it even harder trying again after the mmc when it’s not happening straight away. I’m feeling a lot more positive about this cycle though! Hopefully it’s both of our months 🙌

I'm in the same boat, I fell pregnant second month of trying that ended in an early miscarriage and now on our 8th month about to go into fertile week.

I had the last two months off of bbt tracking and only tested OPK around when I thought ovulation was and was right. I've gone back to bbt this month as it didn't happen the last two months not tracking so thought i may as well go back to tracking, I've got bloods being done at the doctors after ovulation as well so want to pinpoint when it happens. Good luck everyone this month x
