38+ how long did it take you

Feeling as if time is against me .
I am concerned that the quality of my eggs is hindering our chances.
I'm trying to conceive baby #1

Ttc our first when I was 37. Had our first at 39, after 2 early miscarriages.

Then had our second at 41 on second cycle of trying.

So longer than I would have liked for dc1, but due to mc rather than not conceiving (those pregnancies took 3 months then 8 months, but we couldnt try every month). Try not to worry - lots of women I later met as mum's were late 30s when having dc.

DC1 at 37, conceived month 2
DC2 at 39, conceived month 1.

@xCrystalQueenx I wish I had read a thread like that when I started, so that I could stress a bit less...
I'm 38 and still trying (although we might have made it this month if it's not a CP), 9 months, but I have to be honest that for most of the time we were not following the DTD every two to three days, which I think plays the most important role!

A fertility doctor suggested coenzyme Q10 (3 x200mg daily) for egg quality, which I have been taking for a month.

Fingers crossed, you won't have to wait very long!!

Hi im 37 and on cycle 2 of trying..I have a 12 and 16 year old and worried I'm too old now for baby 3 😪its very stressful even tho your supposed to limit your stress .ive got preseed to try this month and going to did every other day to hopefully that will help

I'm 38 and currently 18 weeks pregnant with second child🤞 We had a chemical on our first month trying, then it took another 3 months.
In contrast, our first took 15 months and a chemical to conceive. I was taking all the supplements recommended in "it starts with an egg" this time, from the beginning. Good luck x
